Nice pic Sanke1. Post a few more as well. Where exactly is this place & how far is it from Pune? I was in Pune for close to 5 years and traveled lots in and around the city, never heard of this place. Looks pretty beautiful though.

On the Polo front, Yes it surely feels a lot comfortable if your comparing it with the likes of Maruti Wagon R. By the way, how many miles have you clocked in the car? Any new mods done?

Covered 9000 KMs in 1 year.

This place Lenyadri is 100 kms from Pune between Pune and Nashik. It is a one of the 8 Ganesha temples comprising of Ashta Vinayak. We have to climb 300 tall rocky steps to reach temple carved in the middle of the mountain. Tests your cardio endurance. [:D]

Go for them. You will have to go to a local hard ware shop to get a suitable length screws to fix them. You will also need to rewire the LHD to RHD and I will help you. Send me a PM. Totally worth.

Sad update.

A kid in our society rammed his cycle on my car's tail lights. So since one got damaged, had to replace them with stock. But I have ordered new Euro style tail lights from vagtune.in for 15k.

Wait for new pics. [:)]

vagtune.in shopping experience was not good. I mean the packaging was terrible with no foam inside. They charged me for express delivery but shipped via standard delivery. As a result, the tail lights arrived in totally broken condition. Hence I refused the delivery and sent it back.

Hopefully they will send me new ones today or I will ask for refund.

Modding time today!!

The tails finally arrived and installed. Working perfect so far.

Had to do a bit of modding and wiring to convert these Euro LHD to Indian RHD style otherwise the Fog and Reverse would have been swapped.

Unfortunately they are not. But I still like them. They are selling the blackened ones for 25,000 with 1 week delivery time.

If you order from ebay.com tuningfanatics, they take 1.5 months to deliver from Germany and it also gets stuck for a while in our customs dept. Plus you have to pay 14% custom duty on (Price + Shipping)

Asking because, I've ordered a pair of Euro spec tail lamps and I am awaiting the delivery. The VW service center wouldn't help me with the modification so I'll have to do it myself. Please let me know! Thanks in advance.

Read this topic which discusses taillights of our Polo. They are in the same boat as us since Australia has RHD.

Hi Sanke1 , My Polo first service is due within 10-15 days. Car has covered close to 3K in 11 months. My running is very less. What are the things I should get done in the first service? Thanks

^^ You don't have to worry about anything. The VW workshop has their own checklist and will get all the required things done. You drop the car, pay the bill 8-12k and collect ytour car.
