Thanks mate. I will put up an ownership tomorrow. It's been a little more than 24 hours with the car and she has covered 120kms already [:D]
I am in love all over again. [:D]

My Princess has done 27000 kms to date. One year and two months down the line, she still looks and feels like new. A nice little hatchback for the city as far as I am concerned. She is a fun little thing to potter around town in.
She performs fine in the city and on the highways as well. All I needed from her was a little more power and that has been satisfied in the form of the Vento. I use the Polo and Vento alternatively.
A pic from the 27000km milestone and of my Poclet Rocket and Princess hanging out together in the garage.
No pictures of the Princess alone because she is a bit dirty. Will probably call the guys from Travancore Auto Spa this weekend and get the swirl marks removed. Will post pictures of that once I get it done.

Vipin

A white beauty with some really tasty rims near my house in Trivandrum. The alloys looks out of the world in real life. I've never fallen this hard for rims. And my girl thinks it looks absolutely smashing too. And that is something considering she hates alloys in general.

Wow those rims look fantastic. And pretty much going with the white color of the Polo. Are they 16 or 17 inch rims? I've seen a few good designs here too in 17inch ones, but the problem is most of them don't fit with the Polo's PCD specifications.

I think they are 17" rims. They look jaw-droppingly gorgeous in real. One of the hottest set of rims I've set my eyes in. I've never seen the person who drives it though. If I ever see that car on the road, I'll be sure to stop him and ask him the details.

Vipin if your going for 17" rims and then go for Lenso CQ4 mate. For your white beauty it will look smashing. saw the original Lenso CQ4 in a Verna with hankook tires in Trivandrum. Just one word to describe the alloys Awesome.

I haven't seen the CQ4 in real but I showed a couple of pics to my girl and she didn't like it at all. But those rims on that Polo. They look so much better in real. And I've fallen head over heels for that. My girl doesn't check out any car at all but this Polo, we both check without fail when we pass by that apartment.

Regards,
Vipin

PS: Maybe if I see a CQ4 in real, I might change my mind. Who knows [:D]

Naah stick to what you like and feel good dude. I have seen only one car in Trivandrum a white Verna shod with CQ 4. It does look amazing but since both you and your gf likes these particular set of alloys it's better you go for the same.

The problem is size Vipin. It starts at 17" only and goes upto 21". Even 17" is totally unsuitable for our roads with big potholes. This is why i am thinking twicce about going for 16-17" alloys.[cry]

Sankar

17" is unsuitable for our roads, especially since the car is a daily drive. Plus the suspension will take a beating and there is no way we can use our cars for around 10 years, using the car as a daily drive. It's best to stick to the stock size or go up one size. [:)]
