, everytime I look at a 'Brown Storme' parked at the parking lot of my workplace it skips my heartbeat, the tall stance and the elegant front look are very good changes made by Tata, if only they had provided the spare wheel on the rear door, as the rear without it looks a bit like an MUV, totally flat, Tata should have designed it like the 'Range Rover' rear to match the elegant front. But also the thought makes me ponder that the removal of rear door spare wheel has a benefit as you will not have to lift that heavy tyre after a change due to a puncture etc. which is more practical.
Congrats once again and enjoy the beast, I'm so happy to see that you are facing no niggles or issues unlike the old Safari, which is so nice to hear and assures customer faith, Tata needs to fix the other issues like steering wheel position and the cheap looking music system.

I don't think Mukesh has installed spacers. The 20mm extra width of the Maxxis tyres coupled with (probably) 7.5/8/8.5J alloys (Mukesh- please clarify the J reading) makes the tyres jut out and hence it gives the impression that this look has been achieved by adding spacers.

Mukesh, please post some snaps of the wheelarch/mudflap areas that have been cut/hammered in order to accommodate the alloys+tyres.
Do you hear any 'clang' noise from the steering when the Storme is moving with the steering at full lock e.g. in a tight U turn?

My Storme was again Stolen (2nd time) on the night of saturday& Sunday around 2AM from Vikas Puri delhi, i got to know about it around 3AM. So as usual was completely shocked but kept kalm, found my vehicle using my GPS tracker and reached to the place within 20 mins.
Series of action (Saturday & Sunday):
9 PM: Reached Vikas Puri for my best friends marriage, Groom was with me.
9:30 PM: Gave keys to vallet parking guys and asked them to park my Storme infront of teh garden.
10 PM to 1 AM: Marriage ceremony begins and enjoyed dancing with other friends, and went inside of the venue. My Storme was parked infront of the venue.
2 AM: Came out of the venue to see off one of my other friend, and found that Storme was not there. Since many people were going back to their homes so there were lots of cars on the road. I thought that Vallet parking guys must have parked the my Storme somewhere else to avoid traffic jam. (The venue was on main road, it was a single lane road).
2:15 AM: I gave the slip to the vallet parking driver and asked him to bring my Storme since i had asked the flower man to decorate my Vehicle.(My Storme was to be used as a Doli)

2:45 AM almost all my friends gathered outside and gave the vallet parking guys nice words, some punches and much more. Now i tried to find the vehicle using the GPS and got to know the my Storme is parked in Bhagwati Garden nawada (nearest metro stations is Dwarka more). So me my friend and one flower man (who knew about the area) went in my friends car to track teh vehicle.
3:15 AM: Found my Storme parked in an open plot and was locked, checked the bonnet was still hot.
3:15 AM: called my friends and told them about the area, they reached there in another 15 mins. At the same time sent one of my friend to my home to bring the another key.
3:15 to 4:00 AM: Called delhi police 5 times, but no body came. after that one of uncle called his known person (DCP delhi police) and in another 5 mins there were three PCR vehicles there, we told them entire situation.
4:15 AM: Another team of police officials arrived from Vikas puri police station, they asked us if anything missing from the vehicle, i told them we cannot find out the same until the car is opened.
5:AM My friend reached with another key, opened it infront police people, checked everything was fine. Police asked if we want to register the case but they told me that if i want to register the case then i will have to handover the vehicle to them and i can get it back on monday or tuesday after court's direction. But i was not in favour of leaving my Storme at police station so told them that i don't want to register any case.
around 6:30 AM: Reached at my home with my Storme.

The vallet guy told us that someone came from inside of the venue and was dressed like a guest, he asked the keys of my Storme (which was parked just outside of the venue) and told them that he need to take something from the car. Since it was groom's car so Vallet parking guy gave him the keys but did not asked anything when that person started and zoomed away.

Wow this is a extremely shocking incident man . But thank god that you got the car safely back .
But what about the key the robber used ? Did you recover that ?
Good that you had installed the GPS thing in your car , I remember you had called me and we had discussed about fitting that in your storme .

Which is the GPS Tracker you are using?Where have you placed it and how often you have to charge it?

@raja. I did not get the keys back and will be getting the new key this weekend.
@decool, i never had any issues earlier with vallet parking but this time it was nightmare. Not only my car got stolen but the driver damages another car dzire and rear bumper was completely smashed and when confronted then the driver told that they got the car in same condition. BTW i will never rely on Vallet parking now and will never give my keys to anyone.
@draneeshpm, i got the GPS tracker from TATA dealer from where i bought my Storme and it costed me 20k. Additionally they charge 3000 per year for live tracking. Cannot give the location of tracker here.
