Hi VM Bro,

Any justification why no second thought for ciaz? Any special reason for this. And how about ciaz build quality which is made with high tensile steel similar to sunny which i dont feel strong :P

What problems did he hear ? I have a 2012 verna and the latest one has improved a lot. The gear shifts are smoother , the ride quality now is more planted.

The only benfit i see in the verna is the bigger engine and i guess all the features are the same in both the cars. What's his budget ? Which varaint is he considering ? Petrol or diesel ? Monthly running ?

Actually, I am in love with the 16" OEM Alloys. Even if I get it from outside, I will look for the exact model.
BTW, I am also considering i20Active, but with the current sales, I feel, Hyundai sales people have started showing a different attitude. When I was getting the i20 in 2012, I was blown away by their manners. But now, stuffs have change.
Anyways, Maruti still takes care of its customers. Customer satisfaction is what will help you survive for long you see.

Yeah. But for new cars every manufacturer does this. I visited hyundai showroom for xcent when the creta was launched and we even asked for TD of the creta, he helped me answer my every question. Anyways , do a TD of both the cars and then decide. Again you don't have to see those faces again and i'd report anything negative about it.

Disnesh, MGA body covers are good but they are pricey. I would say it would be wise to negotiate a bit on pricing. You may also check for good quality car covers on e-portals.[:)]

my friend is interested to buy the ciaz vdi + model. today his parents along with me and one more friend visited the showroom nearest to our home.

we had to wait for 15 minutes before the executive came. i aksed for brochure and started explaing the features to his parents ( the showroom should give me commission :p)

executive explained the same features as told by me [lol] friend was becoming impatient so he just asked for discounts to which he said only 13k rs from the government.

the executive also said a new model is coming which includes drls and some more features [\B] any news on this ? akash or any other member ?
( friend told the executive that his relative bought a ciaz with 30k discounts , executive replied maybe they are clearing stock and told us about the above information)

me and my other friend sat in the car and there's nothing premium inside the car (although the all black interiors looked good in the rs version)
the flimsy power windows , a 10 lakh rupees car and thise disgusting switches.

the irvm was already shaking , again looked cheap. the steering looked bad.
i liked the brown wooden finish and the exterior. but i dont think it's a good car at all from inside apart from the space.

i suggested him the verna and the rapid since honda city model with equal features is expensive.

will update what he decides.

Indeed a mild-facelift is there on the cards. The news was confirmed to me by my uncle. However, at present the exact launch month is not confirmed. Also, It might be sold by NEXA from 2016 once it gets the face-lift.

Yes I heard the same news with price hike upto 30k.
I have booked a ciaz. The dealer is offering 25k discount + few accessories + corporate discount. But I am getting it reg. In jan

Congratulations,

Being a Maruti it is bound to be offered with discounts. Which color and trim have you booked.

Is there any benefit for the 1st Owner in registering car in January compared to now itself ? I have not seen any difference.

It's just a myth according to me, because, If it's registered in Jan 2016, but the VIN number is a 2015 one, it doesn't have any advantage, because the car's age is known by VIN and not by the registration date/month.

Anyway, it's left to you and you can have a temporary registration for 30 days.
