Being a Maruti it is bound to be offered with discounts. Which color and trim have you booked.

Is there any benefit for the 1st Owner in registering car in January compared to now itself ? I have not seen any difference.

It's just a myth according to me, because, If it's registered in Jan 2016, but the VIN number is a 2015 one, it doesn't have any advantage, because the car's age is known by VIN and not by the registration date/month.

Anyway, it's left to you and you can have a temporary registration for 30 days.

I have booked zxi+. Sangria red.
Reg in Jan is because my mom wants it to be in Jan. There are auspicious days. Another reason is most of the people still don't know vin. They still check reg year.
Any ways I won't be selling it for at least 7 years. So doesn't matter.

True ..from Day 1 the 1.6 MJD should have been offered and this would have put it beyond the competition.

I was planning on buying Ciaz Vxi+, but since I am tight on Budget went on to Book Baleno Zeta, but I have read somewhere that there are December offers on Ciaz upto 60,000 + additional accesories, if thats the case the Price difference between Baleno Zeta and Ciaz Vxi+ is about 1 lac, can anyone please confirm this and if anyone has got any offers from Dealers in Punjab.

I was booked my Ciaz SHVS RS on last deepavali day (Nov 10) and because it is the top end model and I opted for Glistening Grey which is not a common colour, they have to intend it and I got my car on December 10. (I was opted Black first but as per Maruti sales head in Kerala, it will take two to three months minimum for Black RS so changed)

I got 10K corporate discount, 25K exchange bonus, 13K govt subsidy.

Accessories opted are
1. Side beeding body colour - 3150
2. floor lamination black - 2000
3. under body coating with 3 years warranty and recoting in every 6 months - 3650
4. Floor mat - FREE
5. illuminated Sillguard - 3150
6. Ciaz Premium Car care Kit - Free

Now crossed 500 KM, shows 17 KMPL average

I have few questions for you as I have booked the car and waiting for delivery.
Do the black floor lamination spoil looks? Is it required?
Side beeding? Does that help scratch protection!
How about styling kit for interiors?
How about full floor mats or carpet mats?

It is very hard to keep the floor woolen carpet cleaning. Please suggest.

1. Black floor lamination - The interiors of my car is Black. not beige, as it is RS variant. So looks great. If your interior is beige go for beige floor lamination. It is worth. you can chose 3D mats (hope it is the correct name)also if affordable

Can u share the pic of sil gaurd. Is it genuine Maruti? My dealer has it for usual beige color. I asked him when will we get illuminated with black and he said, Maruti has not manufactured for RS yet.

I was waiting for silguard and today my dealer called me and told that black one is not available as of now.
He gave two option, one is refund of money and second is black painting over beige colour which is not recommended by him
So opt for refund and wait for black.

How much will be charged for first free service?

First service was completely free for me. Nothing changed, the car is just like new and must say engine feels like butter smooth. I think I went quite late for it. (2030 kms). Try to get it done at 1000. Service guys also did some buffing on the tiny scratches I got. Crystal clear again

Nope, no oil change. Cleaning internal vacuum & shampoo. Polishing, interiors n exterior. Basic check on engine oil, coolant, brake oil, suspension, cleaning of filter and electronics ECU of the car that's it.
I feel the difference, engine runs smooth perhaps, because of some filter cleaning. I am planning to get HID for projectors, what r your thoughts?

Edit: really miss the drls and I don't want to lapse the warranty by doing it out of MAS
