Hi Guyz,

Till now I have travelled 3700kms and showing 19.2 mileage. My ciaz is not hybrid one.
Its ZDI+ model. I am pretty happy with this mileage. Does any one getting more than this? What I mean in future I can expect more mileage :P

I am pretty happy with the driving, Its really smooth and I hardly hear engine noise and the cluth is very smooth compared to its rivals Vento/Verna/city. When I drive Vento I feel Clutch is too hard but not in Ciaz. Is there any specific reason to keep Clutch hard in all other models? or is it depends on Engine CC?

I have some problems in my ciaz. I feel Some times its hard to shift to reverse gear. Does any one facing this issue and one more thing while closing the windows I am getting some sound something like loose connection for all doars but I didnt find this type of sounds in other vehicles in CITY, Vento and in Verna. Any one facing it? Is it due to cheap quality of plastics used in doars?

Edit: really miss the drls [anger] and I don't want to lapse the warranty by doing it out of MAS
I too really.
But my dealer told that MGA DRL of Philips will be available soon. Waiting for that. Those which they have now is not compatible with Ciaz.
Do you have any idea about lights which will lit when door open to see ground at night? Like in XUV?

Hey dinesh. Ive been driving a ZDI for a year now. Absolutely no problem while engaging reverse. But regarding the windows, i have no problem at all. I doubt the door is of bad build quality as they are pretty heavy. I really didnt understand by lose quality. Can you please elaborate sir?

no idea.
but one light CRUISE is there in instrument panel.
CRUISE Light is present in our Dzire also. I think it is because parts are shared from International versions and that is the reason why some of their features are kept as dummy in our version.

Yeah, maybe the cruise light is present so as to support an after market CC installment?

Hi,
Need help!
I have booked ciaz zxi+ variety sangria red color on Nov 14th 2015, and expected delivery in Jan. Now my dealer says that the colour is not available. No stock, and is delaying the delivery. People who booked the same vehicle in other places r about to get their vehicle.
Now my question is should I wait,?
If I wait I will get 2016 model but don't know when.but I will not get any discounts.
It seems the manufacturing plant is shut down for a few days. Is it true? When will it reopen.
Please advice

As per my dealer, production of vehicles are stopped due to year end. All models.
If you like red, wait. You will get 2016 model and enjoy

Maybe. But primarily it is a dummy, as manufacturers are wise enough to use/share the same parts among cars. Ciaz and Swift are sold in international markets also, and get CC there, so Maruti in India uses the same cluster instead of spending on R&D, design, production of a different design for a minor change. Aftermarket CC installs are something new to me (never heard or seen) and I doubt if installers would care or bother to access the complicated cluster just to add one light.

After market CCs are common nowadays. So the Jamaican Ciaz and the Chinese Alivio have CC and we dont. [anger].

I am getting a July manufactured Ciaz ZXi for 65,000 discount. The dealer got the car in october.
Already done PDI, spot less piece.

Should I go ahead and purchase it?
Early response will be highly appreciated.

Tarun if you are satisfied with the PDI then go for the deal. If you have seen the car and its good then no issues at all. But 2 things I would suggest you i.e 1) Try to crank its engine and listen to the engine sound closely and properly with open hood. 2) Try to raise the discount to 80K minimum because its a 6 month old vehicle.

Regards

Akash
