Tarun if you are satisfied with the PDI then go for the deal. If you have seen the car and its good then no issues at all. But 2 things I would suggest you i.e 1) Try to crank its engine and listen to the engine sound closely and properly with open hood. 2) Try to raise the discount to 80K minimum because its a 6 month old vehicle.

Thanks Akash for the prompt reply, I did PDI using TAI guide, the engine was single CRANK start, didnt listen the sound for long but AFAIK(not an expert ), it appeared right.
I tried pushing it to 80K even for more accesories but could not succeed, earlier in the same deal I was getting June Manufactured from other dealer but was not satisfied with the PDI, it was most probably a Display Car as the seats were soiled, dashboard was dirty, even the carpet had Foot Steps on them, but this one is super clean 8 Km on the ODO, seats wrapped in polythene, dashboard super clean.
Is it advised to take 6 month old car? Is the discount less? I had also booked Baleno Zeta a month and half earlier, is it wise to spend almost 1.8 lakhs more for Ciaz?

Fine. That means it has been kept well.

CIAZ and Baleno are 2 different cars. The decision to buy either of the 2 should be as per your requirement. If I am at your place, I won't go for CIAZ no matter what's the discount or condition. For me the important thing is it's a 2015 model standing in stockyard/showroom for 2-3 months minimum. I know probably your Baleno too would be a end-2015 manufactured car but Baleno being newer than CIAZ, I'll put my money on Baleno. Coming to discount, if you feel real need to buy this CIAZ, increase the discount by at least 5-10K.

Thanks again Akash for another prompt reply, actually i am in love with CIAZ from the day it was launched, but had to divert to Baleno due to unforseen conditions but on getting these deals, I am again mouth watering for CIAZ.

2. Paint Sealant - Rs 3190 + taxes
3. Nomad Mats - Rs 240/sq ft (approx Rs 4700 for CIAZ acc to him)
4. Scotchguard Protection Film - Rs 500/ sq ft

Can you guys please confirm are these okay? And if I need to go for some other treatments also?

Tarun, apart from the anti-rust, rest all are waste of money. In Delhi, these protections don't last and if by chance a scratch etc is done on the car then all your expenses on these coatings/protections will be wasted.

Oh! Thanks Akash. Nomad Mats seems useful as they trap the dirt but I also felt them too expensive. Do v have better alternatives to them that don't get dirty easily or get ruined in few months.

Tarun, You can use normal plastic transparent mats too. I have no experience of these noodle mats but for sure plastic mats can be easier/economical to maintain.

Hi all,
very happy today, finally my car had arrived at the stockyard. I checked out the vehicle. Checked out electronics, lights, odo 13km, boot, hood, all leather seats with cover, too dusty car as it had arrived just last night, I didn't find any scratches or dents. Finished all the formalities, temporary registration will be tomorrow and delivery on Saturday.
My car has good year tires, ciaz rs sangria red color, I felt the spoilers did do well. I had booked zxi+, but still happy about rs variant

It was 2 months since booking. I was particular about color. The colour I asked for he had a rs version. The shipment of vehicles was to arrive on Wednesday. Few days ago he asked me will I wan a go for it. I told him I wan a see the car first. Thursday he took me for pdi.
I said yes and processed the payment. Finally got temporarily registered today. Will take the delivery of vehicle tomorrow. Was busy with my work today. Couldn't make time.
As I used to drive swift. It also has black interiors. It's single tone.
Ultimately to drive you require a good comfortable vehicle. Color has nothing to do with performance of the car. I think everyone will agree to my last statement.
