Yea both are ok.
But why the judder while moving the car from halt in 1st gear? I think this started since the time they installed upgraded engine mounts.

Btw I am absolutely loving the attention the tail lamps are getting. A bit too much attention I may add. A traffic cop enquired about them saying that they look different . You know how our traffic cops are. Unable to praise anything. But I took it as a compliment.

Never felt any judder at first gear, so cannot comment!! I guess it will settle on its own.

I am already saving to get those tail lamps, do not tempt me to order them sooner!

Haven't experienced the judder which you are getting in your car. But i guess yours is a new car and i guess they will go away with time and some more kilometers on the odo.

Good to know people actually differentiating your tail lamps. Worth the effort and money put in.[clap] Had i got a black or a red Polo myself, i would have not thought twice before adding them up. Not too sure how they will look on my white car. I guess i am good with the stock ones only.

All this time I was thinking that those black tail lamps will look better with white or silver polo, but you think otherwise!!

I am happy with stock wheels.

Btw these days my car vibrates when starting to move forward while gently releasing clutch on 1st gear.
On cold starts, the juddering is not there. But as the car warms up, driving in stop and go traffic becomes annoying.
dude i had the same problem in my polo petrol highline...
They changed the engine mounts and also applied some gel in the gearbox mount as said by the mechanic there...
After that it all came back to normal and no more vibes at all!

^^ I will drop my car at service centre soon. I have noticed that my FE is gradually increasing since I completed 1000kms. The engine sound has slightly changed.

Just back from Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai trip via Expressway with total of 5 occupants.

I managed to hit 165 kmph and the car was eager for more. [:)]
The fellow passengers had no idea about the speed before I told them. I did not feel scared but decided to maintain a 90 constant.

FE was 19.1 kmpl AC on which I think is ok for non turbo Petrol.

Average speed was 85 kmph.

Some eyefest for you

The effects of sublime driving.

Sunrise at McDonalds on the way back from Pune. It was foggy and the ghat section was a joy to drive.

Few people (Polo Owners) asked me if the new model has new tail lights as well.

That mileage shown is only for the return trip on Expressway.

Tank full method gave me around 14 but that was only City based.

19.5 kmpl on the MID roughly translates to 18-18.5 kmpl in real. That is real good for a petrol Polo. I guess that is what good wide roads can give you in terms of fuel economy.

You are right. Even the speed 165 is not correct according to Sygic MapMyIndia Navigation. It was always lesser by 5 kmph in that app. That proves the incorrect speedometer theory.

I think its ok as it stops people from going even faster.
