Tata Zest vs Honda Amaze vs Maruti Dzire vs Hyundai Xcent vs Ford Figo Sedan

After a short drive in Zest I am left with two minds.
est everything is good but there is still something wrong with the engine. I won't compare it to a TSi or T-Jet(that won't be justified) but the mid range is a let down considering the fact that this motor has got turbocharging.
Adding to that this engine is by no ways a speed runner. Low end is like any regular MPFi petrol(nothing like a GDI), mid range is something like that of a GDI petrol, maybe a bit stronger and the top end is nowhere near to an i-vtec or K or a Kappa.
I wish the engine was sporty at least in the sports setting.

basically Revotron motor is nothing just like a old new bottle still this engines shares old school technology except ECU mapping module to get different modes tata just simple tried to improve the Refinement levels and NVH levels so we hope that next version of this engine will be a more powerfull and torquee ![[glasses]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Glasses.gif "Glasses [glasses]")

Saw a dark blue zest on road. My opinion on sub 4 meter sedans doen't change. Zest has joined my infamous list for poor looking sub 4 meter sedan. It looks bad to my eyes. Thanks to Indian Govt governed by lobbying car corporates.
Zest gives you the luxury of owning a classy sedan with complete infotainment and every feature a sedan must have.

Looks are subjective to individuals's preference. However, Zest is the best overall package in CS segment as of now. If you'll assign points to all CS contestants based on Looks, Drivability, Safety, Handling, Power etc. Zest will be the clear winner.
Only thing lacking, is the reliability on Tata brand for PV. That will go away once WOM about Zest spreads and it will take its own time.

Tata Zest is a Refreshingly New Product from TATA
Iam sure it will be a Game changer in the CS segment
It is Very Refined, Plastic Quality is Top Notch Seats are Good as compared to Amaze
It has been loaded with of Equipments, which are not available on
Dzire, Amaze etc.
Iam sad that The AMT Version Zest XMA is a let down on Equipments
Its lacking AirBags, Led daytime Running lights etc
Hope Tata will correct the anomaly and come out with above on the AMT Version

Guys, why is it that there are not many Tata zests visible on Bangalore roads? Is it the same with all the metros in India? Or is the delivery speed of Tatas is a little slow???
In Delhi also I have spotted quite a few Ei20, but not a single Zest apart from my own.

Whats the problem with Tata zest deliveries? Why are they not visible in good numbers on our roads? Why is Tata so slow in delivering them?

TATA ZEST is a good alround package in CS segment deffinately good alternative choice beside Dzire but i personally feel that TATA should bring Full Sized Sedan version ZEST(alla TATA MANZA) name it as TATA ZEST plus or ZEST suffix name(Zest with bigger boot) this may helps to grab some sales figure from C segment Sedans deffinately i guess ![[;)]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Wink.gif "Wink [;)]")
I think, Tata misjudged the demand. They stocked more XE & XM trims. Whereas, demand for XMS and XT is more.
Also, Diesel AMT delivery has just started. It will also add up the numbers because Zest is the most affordable Diesel Automatic Sedan which many people are waiting for.
