i also booked Zest White XT with KHT motors brookefileds, delivery is on 24th. How is the service center people response for issues if we report?

FE seems low even though it is combined.

FE is not bad though. I drive in city near kundalahalli and Marathalli area.
Highway FE is good, I got around 19.8kmpl.

Hello All,

I found few surprises during first 2 weeks itself.
1. LED color was different on mirror indicators. This was observed when we unlock the car. One was having red LED and other was orange. This is a minor issue can be ignored.
2. Alignment was missed when car was delivered to me.
3. I could see fuses were clearly visible on the driver side.
4. Door rattling on the front left side. This problem they have resolved now. But I have to check this during my next long drive.

First for all congrats for your wise buy.

I have a question for you Sir. Did you went through PDI before delivery and if yes did these issues occur after your did PDI or did you miss something during PDI?

I did not see mud entering into the engine bay.
@Harish: Can you share some details? How to check?
First service is scheduled after 4500-5500km or 3 months. I see you mentioned as 3000km.

2) I didnt notice the fuses issue. Will check it and let you know.
3) To see the mud issue, you have to peep in and look at the back side of headlights.
if you have driven in rain, most probably you will see mud sprayed over there.
4) I was wrong to quote it 3k KMS , I will correct it. Thanks for pointing it out.

Mine is showing 15.2 after running 2100 KMS.
I guess after first service, it will be a bit better.

I did PDI check one day before taking delivery. It is not possible to check each and every thing.
LED color, you can notice only during night time.
Alignment, you can check only after driving on an open road

I could catch one problem. The boot was not opening with keys. They solved it by just adjusting a screw.

There is special attention to all the Zest customers. KHT team is doing a good job there. They are on job immediately. Only thing is they will not respond on Sundays ;-( (Did not even pick the calls).

You cannot expect much. I had Ritz diesel before and I was getting the same FE through out my ownership. 13-14 in city drive and 17-18 on highways. I usually drive with AC on 95% of the time.

In my experience, Highways easily giving around 20 with 100% A/C.
But if if idle for few minutes in A/c, it comes down quickly to 17-18.
I too owned the dzire with fiat 1.3 diesel engine. I used to get 17 avg combined.

You can check by keeping steering wheel straight. You try this when you are driving on open road.

Let me check this. But there is no problem to the engine. The engine is well protected.

@Harish - I just spoke to my SA about the Mud entering engine bay issue, he says they are aware of it & working on a fix. I guess TATA doesnt want to acknowledge it publicly.

That is perfectly ok, But what should stop them from acknowledging to the person who reported and keeping him updated?
Not a single call or mail I received after raising this issue 3 weeks back.
