I checked the engine bay. I also see mud behind headlight. I hope TATA team is looking to these forums and provide a solution during first service.
Have a look at this picture. Today I checked with KHT motors team and they assured that he will take this matter to TML and provide solution as early as possible.

Congrats Ravi !!!

Any idea how much is the waiting period for Zest. In mumbai, the dealers say that it will take minimum of 4-5 weeks for delivery [surprise] plus the dealers have still not got any accessories from Tata

Guys, One Major Update on Mud In Engine Bay Issue:

After all the following up with mail and calls, Finally today I received call from TML guys.
He has told that issue is acknowledged and R&D team is working on it. He will drop me a mail acknowledging the same.
In a month or two we can expect the fix [:D]. He said max by Dec/Jan.

Yesterday I had visited Concorde motors for fitting mud flaps and had a talk with sales TL.
He was genuinely worried about this issue as customers have started asking about this.
Mayank Pareek, President of passenger cars, TML is visiting Bangalore Concorde motors in the coming week and the sales TL has promised to take this issue up to him.
He has requested to mail him with the details so that he can also take it up from his side which I had already done.

I think now, we should show some patience and give them two months to give us a permanent fix.

Thank you.
I tried plugging in my phone with the USB. It doesn't detect as a phone or storage media. The system just charges the phone.
Mine is a windows phone. Yet to try with android.

Read somewhere that irrespective of OS, system will just charge the phone. Also video option is not available but pictures can be seen but only through SD card as per one SA here.

Playing video should work at least when engine is off and car is stationary.
I think if the system was capable of playing videos ,tata would have shown this as a key feature of the car and moreover ability to play videos needs much higher processing capabilities so the possibility is less keeping in mind the segment the car belongs to. [confused]
