Yes, I am planning to do that as I don't want to learn in my new car. It comes to 3000 without license now. I am very much comfortable in driving even in traffic in initial gears but when I am in 4th gear, the panic created in my mind to downshift to low gears and I need to work on this.

Got my car back today.
Yes, they have fitted the KIT for MIB issue. Hope it works. I'm suspicious about its design for full effectiveness. Lets wait and watch
Not that pleased with the service.
The pickup guy missed to bring back all my documents.
He said will bring it by morning tomorrow.
There was no attention to detail. The wax applied on dashboard was carelessly done even on top of touch screen and controls.
Floor mats, which is of beige color, is spoiled to its max with dirt.
Window panes were having some white material like white cement powder and marks of it rolled up and down.
On seat, I saw some turmeric powder traces which i don't know where it came from.
I would say, it has been done without much supervision.

Mostly, mine will be the first zest which they got for the first service, and this level of carelessness is not acceptable.
I called the service guy and mentioned all these, he apologized and said he was not there at the time of final inspection and it wont happen again.

They will have a feedback system and try to mention all these and give them a low score. It wont repeat next time and they will be careful for next set of vehicles.

If its Concorde motors Dairy circle, even i had tough time with them after my XMA delivery on 15th Oct..till then they were very good. After that i was running behind for refund pending and some invoice among which refund i got now after a month, debit note/invoice nobody responded still. Somehow got TML guys also in but still no help, thought my bad luck working. But seeing your scenario i suspect something wrong with their end really.
So when i went to my hometown, I just had MIB fittings recently last week with TAFE coimbatore and some minor issues before 1st service. It was great experience. Seeing your experience i will drive for my 1st service also there.[cry]

I have reported the steering squeaking sound.
This was done to my satisfaction. No more uncomfortable sound while taking extreme turns.
I found another odd issue after service.
Both my trip meters are showing same average.
I think they have connected some circuits wrongly after fixing the squeaking sound issue [anger].

I should mention the engine bay was cleaned pretty well.
I have requested the service manager for the same and I think he played his part here.
Mainly the experience was screwed up by the wax/polishing guy who did the interiors.
he has done it in the maximum unprofessional way possible.

Somehow I feel in India even in the new cars displayed in the show rooms will overdo waxing. I guess we are obsessed with chrome and wax [;)] Both will be in abundant in new cars.

Don't you have a feedback option? Earlier during the launch of Zest there was news that all the SA's will be given tab and they will use that as job card. Also there would be feedback options.

As i did pick up drop, there was no direct interaction.
Usually with maruthi, i used to get a form at the time of delivery on feedback.
I think I might get a call from Dealership guys on feed back for service.

Anyways within a week or two, I will be driving to the dealer to check the trip meter average issue.
I'll give them the most awaited feedback directly[angry]

which service center you have given? i saw one blue zest with fitting MIB kit on tuesday at KHT service center and i was told as it came for first service. I saw service people are looking every part and doing clean and washing. MIB kit is installed for my Zest on Tuesday.

It was my car. They have fixed the mud in engine bay issue. Service manager Ramesh had arranged pick up and drop. My first service is still pending.

Not sure Harish you read my post above, i would say a strict no and not a 2nd try too based on your exp and my one. Better try another centre please in the interest of your zest!

yep... Next week My car delivery is there. So I need to do PDI properly.[glasses]
