yep... Next week My car delivery is there. So I need to do PDI properly.[glasses]
And i will note down your points.
samipra, i have listed below which i forgot to check with pdi..might be helping you..but tml guys were concerned and help me sort out soon once i noticed it...

1) Wires are present open in left side footwell, hope some closing cap missing there in my zest alone or not sure its for everyone.
2)Left side boot lid has a big gap after closing properly too but right side is fine.
3)Left side front door rubber beading is not properly fit with edge.
4)Paint between boot lid and body is not proper and has some visible shady patch.

Not sure Harish you read my post above, i would say a strict no and not a 2nd try too based on your exp and my one. Better try another centre please in the interest of your zest!
I'm going to create maximum fuss about this careless way of doing things.
The service manager there is a nice person and I guess this happened because of a lazy service lead under him.
Whatever I have requested to service lead, was done perfectly.
But the finishing part was screwed up.
Before taking it there second time, I'll make sure those guys will learn a nice lesson from their mistake.

I think we should make them do their job perfectly by putting pressure from top.
If we ignore, a lot of others will be suffering and again TATA will be blamed.

All the best Harish for your efforts, i also didn't leave it lightly and made TML customer care and customer experience team aware of my issues with email. Still concorde didn't respond for a pending one.

Yes, we need to put pressure from top. I same thing i experienced when MIB kit is installed. First they said it will take 45 mts to fit, i reached at 12.30 there. The customer relationship manager given instructions to mechanic to fit immediately. But that guy just did time pass for 30 mts and left for lunch at 1 PM and came back 2PM. After that also he not started fitting the fix and grooming here and there. I irritated informed service manager Vinod, he came given strict warning. Then mechanic started working, then also very lazy...he works 5 mts and talks 10 mts in phone or with others. This is how people will work in tata service center. This is why people will get afraid of tata service. there is no comparison with Maruti or Hyundai service. In terms of ASS, TML should learn from competitors.

Oh God another bad experience, then i think really TML should propagate their Horizonnext strategy well till dealers/service centres and make sure by some process/reward systems they are doing their job(?)

Is it same concorde Ravi?, i think we need a separate thread here badly to learn good TML service centres by sharing experiences and promoting them and of course we should leave no stone unturned for making bad experiences reported to highest level.

But my point is also promoting good dealers and service centres, other guys will be really quesitoned for their low sales/service numbers which may take time and make them learn hard way if they are not listening to feedbacks.

Its KHT service Center, the managers are very cooperative. Only the problem is with the mechanic who fitted the fix. when i complained about delay to service manager he shouted on mechanic in front of me. I think the mechanics are fearless/careless about their jobs. Here supervision should increase by managers and top level. Then only things will be under control otherwise TML will get never get success even though they owns Jaguar or Land rovers brands.

The service lead suggested to perform a 3M exterior enrichment- surface refinement on the car as there were serveral minor scratches.
I approved and costed me 2921 including taxes.
How can I be sure if this has been done?
I dont see any great reduction in scratches.
There is only a bill which states that this has been done.[confused]

The 3M treatement would be just applying some sealant or may be the rubbing compound. To get best results you will have to visit the 3m center there you may be able to get desired result. However, these microfine scratches are actually the scratches on the paint protection surface and are not easy to remove.

It takes lots of rubbing, using polishing machines etc which is done at 3m centers for sure. At Tata or for that matter any car manufacture service center i dont think they do it in that detail.

If your car is shining then probably they have applied some compound but thats it.

3m also costs you no less than 6k- 7k for removal of scratches and performing paint protection.

You should not have opted for it at the Tata showroom. I think exterior enrichment involves telfon coat. 3M is a brand name and they have an outlet at HSR Layout. You were better off taking your car there directly. BTW, you can still visit them and ask them about this. Maybe they will be able to check and let you know. You can get back at the showroom if proper work has not been done.

Just got call from dealer that my vehicle is in transit, does anyone has any information what "transit" would mean in terms of days to arrive in Delhi from Pune.

In my case, my transit took 3 days to reach yard.
@Harish, couple of questions
1. My ICE is not reading child folder from pen drive, I.e., under Hindi folder, movie specific folders is not getting displayed. How is yours?
2. How you feel shifting from 2 to 3 gear. I feel it is not smooth.
3. Till what km I must drive below 80?
4. Does the air inside tyre is ordinary one or nitrogen?

Hi Harish
After watching the ICE video of yours I have now decided to go for zest xt diesel. But I am still wary of ASS of TML.

Can someone confirm now whether the mud issue is resolved and new car delivery is with solution?
