What price you bought it? If it was really cheap, why dont you take it to Nokia service center and get it replaced ?
I got it @16999, But any way I am getting refund now.

PS: I will not stop purchasing from online stores. Cos they give good deals and service.

My point is for them there is no need to do such tricks to sell at lowest price.

The import price of Nokia Lumia 920 is 24,991 + taxes and its surprising that Nokia is selling them at a loss here ? see the declared MRP And they have not imported any 920 this financial year. So its certain they are clearing old stock.

me along with many friends have experienced that made in china nokia phones are more problematic that the made in korea ones.

so if buying from offline stores choose the made in korea phones.

ordered this last night for my daughter, she never charges the phone as a result i chose a 3000Mhz battery as the main criteria while buying her this handset. Company claims a 30 Day standby time for the battery.

costed me Rs.1795 (Clues Bucks 36) with coupon code 91Mobiles (10% Off On Mobiles) so final price came to Rs 1759

This incident is not about a website, but about a product from Belkin.

I had purchased the Ultimate series 8 Port Surge protector from Belkin thru online store. I was using 300Rs local surge protection equipment before that.

I liked the product because of two reason. Lifetime warranty from Belkin and Connected Equipment Warranty (up to 1 lakh). I managed to get it around 2xxx (do not remember exactly) to the mrp of 3xxx/-

Good/Bad or Worse, one fateful night my sony LCD tv stopped as there was a heavy surge. My desktop motherboard started behaving weirdly (it comes on at times and do not work when needed). I gave the TV for repair and then the Motherboard to Intel as the motherboard was under warranty. They checked it and found some part burnt (Warranty on electronic products -Burnt, physical damage not covered unless mentioned). They refused the warranty and then I contacted Belkin.

Initial response was great from their tech support. Gave the Belkin device on Sep 4 in Accel Frontline (Belkin uses their service like Seagate). I got the replacement in 10 days. But, I was interested in CEW mentioned by them. If that was replaced under warranty, i would not have troubled them. Got a reply saying that they needed some days for getting the report.
Waited for a month.

Even after repairing, TV gets switches off after few hours.
Then I stopped getting mails from techsupport even after continuous mails from my side. That made me furious. They do not have a call support for Surge Protectors and the moment you call, they say that 'please write to techsupportindia@belkin.com'.

I started using my favorite tool "Twitter". Their twitter handle hardly used and I sent tweets to their global id. They immediately responded and asked the problem thru Direct Message. Later they said will get back to me ASAP. Unfortunately, they were not getting any reply from Indian office. I waited for few more days and even Global guys started ignoring my Direct message (DM goes only to them and not seen for all). Then I tweeted publicly & they were prompt as it tarnish their image. They assured again that will get back in 24 hrs. I again called the Customer care number and told my complaint number (which the previous lady gave) and found no update. She told me to forward the mail to techsupport India with his name as subject line (she didnt even give his email id).

I immediately got an Out of office reply from the person I put the name on Subject field [surprise] (Normally, you get a Out of office reply if the email id is present). May be he wanted more time.

Next day Mr Singh called from Gurgaon and tried explaining that the person who was handling my case was on leave (Not for 2 1/2 months) and failed in responding etc etc. I even told him that I am on the verge of going to Consumer court. He asked time till 25th Nov. I found him to be a gentleman as he apologized for someone else mistake. He was talking in jovial manner. I too didn't shout at him as he was nice to me.

Yesterday, he called again and said Mr, there is a bad news. Surge was not at fault and you do not get any claim (I do not know whether he was trying to crack a joke. I was not in a mood). When I started talking back, he said 'Oh there was two same names. Let me see the other report. Oh good news. Our device was at fault, you are eligible for the claim'.

I need to purchase the New motherboard (Intel or any compatible) & change the TV main board from Sony and submit the bill and they will refund the money in 4 weeks. [:D]

Posted this to tell you guys that if your case is genuine, fight for it and you will get what is due.

As I have laptops, I did not miss my PC much other than the photography post processing (I love using photoshop on a powerful system than a basic laptop) & some backup (4x1TB [evil])

Now, in look out for the motherboard(I need an optical out, USB 3.0, SATA 6Gbps) for my 2500K processor.

Thanks

After putting a lot of thought, and my existing phone finally gave up, I decided to go for the Lumia 720. Read a lot of positive reviews here and on other sites too.

Places where I enquired about the prices:
Reliance Digital Store Andheri - Rs. 18499/- (Freebies - A small portable speaker)

Vijay sales: 18500/- No freebies

Flipkart - 15500/- No Freebies

Snap Deal - 14994/- No Freebies

Reason for choosing snapdeal, again: I have done shopping on snapdeal before and have had a good experience. I have purchased a few books and bought my Pioneer Headunit (USB only, no CD) for 2879/-
Delivery time is also good, they've delivered the products as per the estimated time.
Pricing is quite less, compared to other stores (online as well as offline)

So, finally decided to order the Lumia 720 (red) from Snapdeal.
While ordering, just before paying it, I thought I will check my email to see if snapdeal has sent any promotional offer. To my surprise, yes they had sent, a 500/- coupon. And the deal got even sweeter [clap]

Have ordered the phone for almost 4000/- less than the market price.
Hoping to get it next week by Wednesday.
Will review it too here on our forum.

Received my phone yesterday, packaging was nicely done. They delivered within 3 days from the order, which is decent. Satisfied with snapdeal (so far) [clap]

Ordered a seasonic s12 II 520W SMPS.

Checked local vendors and the website of dealers of lamington road mumbai. all had prices in excess of 4500/-
Snapdeal had it for 4.4k. while amazon had it for 4.5k.

Kept waiting for coupons to make the deal sweet. nothing happened. got a coupon but it was not the one i wanted.

In the meanwhile checked for the changing prices trend.
flipkart has now listed it for 4.8k , amazon.in for 4.9k onwards and only one snapdeal dealer has it for 4.4k.

Without much ado, ordered it yesterday.

Got timely updates, with each progressive stage.
and got the product in hand within 24 hours.
shipped from bangalore to mumbai.

though i know the experience varies with the dealers, i took a chance with a new seller and was surprised at the efficiency of that dealer.

All in all good deal. [:D]
