Re: Renault Duster Road Test Drive Review

The Duster in white looks gorgeous. Not sure about the fuse removal thing. My car had been complete washed when I checked it in the showroom. As you said even my car had seat plastic covers intact and engine bay was clean. They didn't wash/clean the engine bay but it was quite clean. My car was fully functional and it had 51km on ODO. Not sure about the HR temp certificate.

Which tyres are you getting are they MRF Wanderer or Apollo Hawkz H/L?
That's what the guy at the stockyard told me, that once the car reaches showroom for delivery.. It'll have everything working as they'll put-in all the fuses.

I got the MRF Wanderer tyres with my car! [:)]

Re: Renault Duster Road Test Drive Review

I took delivery of my Duster on 30th October and loving every moment of driving her. [:D] I have so far driven around 200 kms in last two days. I will keep you posted about my experience with this car in coming days. I am also working on my ownership thread but I will post it after I clock atleast 2000 or 2500 kms.

I have taken some more pics and will post them tonight once I get back home.

I have completed 2100 Kms with my Dusty and so far the experience has been very good. Today the first service was done. I will post more pics and my initial impression about the car tonight.

Manju,

Renault has extended the 60K exchange offer till December. You dont need to actually exchange but you have to provide the RC book copy. Also take the insurance from outside so that you can save some 8-10 K.

Thanks

AK, Thanks for the info. I enquired all the renault dealers in Bangalore regarding exchange bonus by providing RC book copy. They said they can provide only 15k exchange bonus. I tried negotiating a lot, but they are very adamant about it.[frustration]

If any of you from bangalore can refer me renault dealer / SA who provides exchange bonus by providing RC book copy. It would be of great help.[confused]

Thanks,
Manju

Not a good value car
Cheap feeling interiors and absurd pricing.
Not much equipments.
just 5 seats.

The best FE that I could extract from Duster till now is 22.7 kmpl according to the MID. I drove for with light throttle and maintained speeds between 80-95kmph with engine revving between 2000 to 2250 rpm.

Re: Renault Duster Road Test Drive Review

Nice review.

Since Duster doesn't come with one touch operation for power windows even for the driver side, Is it possible to add this feature aftermarket? By installing a module for that?

I find this feature a bare essential, will come handy in places like toll booth.

Hi Manju,

I am in process of finalizing Duster but dealer tells me that 60K exchange is only when you actually exchange a car. If you only provide RC copy, discount is 30K.

Can you help me with more clarity on this?
