1. What is Renault's Gang of Dusters all about? And what exactly is the West Coast Expedition?
Initiated and managed by Renault, the Gang of Dusters is the official fan club for Duster owners in India. Think challenging cross country trips, exciting impromptu rallies, exhaustive servicing sessions and fun networking meets, we have it all. The West Coast Expedition is the first ever trip of the Renault's Gang of Dusters as a community. It is a 5-day drive starting from Mumbai on 15th August, 2013 and moving through Panhala, Dandeli, Goa, and Kolad before culminating at Mumbai on 19th August, 2013.
2. Can we hire vehicles from Renault India for participating in the West Coast Expedition?
No. All the selected participants need to have their own Dusters serviced and ready for the trip.
3. If I am not a Duster owner, can I participate in the expedition?
No. You will need to have a Duster to be eligible for this thrilling drive.
4. What is the schedule of the West Coast Expedition?
The trip starts from and ends back at Mumbai, covering the entire Konkan stretch with stops at Panhala, Dandeli, Goa and Kolad. For more details, visit our Schedule section.
5. How much is the registration fee?
The charges for Indian Nationals for participating in the expedition are Rs. 35,000/- for two people exclusive of taxes. An additional participant will be charged Rs. 8,000/- and will have to stay in the same accommodation / room.
6. How can I register for the event?
You need to be a part of Renault's Gang of Dusters to be a part of this trip. Register for Renault's Gang of Dusters from Join the Gang section. Once you have registered, you can be a part of the expedition by paying the applicable charges in full and completing the related documentation, as specified in the registration form. Registrations will close once 20 vehicles / 40 participants have been registered. The selected participants will get a confirmation call and an e-mail.
7. What are the payment options?
You have an option of paying through a demand draft, cheque or direct bank transfer. The cheque / demand draft should be in favour of Cougar Motorsport Private Limited. Bank transfer should be in favour of Cougar Motorsport Private Limited, current a/c no. 00090210001400, IFSC Code - UCBA 0000009, MICR Code - 110028004 with UCO Bank, H-46 Connaught Place, New Delhi 110001.
8. Can I make the payment at the nearest dealer outlet?
No. The only modes of payment are the ones mentioned above.
9. Can I make a payment on the day of the event?
No. Since your registration is considered complete only after the payment is received, we would request you to make the payment as soon as possible.
10. In the event of a cancellation, am I entitled to any refund? Would there be any deductions?
The charges paid will be refunded on cancellation of the registration by the participant or cancellation of the expedition by the organisers. In case of a cancellation by the participant, the refund would be reduced by any amounts that we are unable to recover from the hoteliers/contractors. The charges will NOT be refunded for ANY OTHER reason.
11. When is the last date for registration?
The last day for registration is 9th August, 2013.
