85 pferdestarke RxL launched in Adventure Edition too. Oh, and someone just mailed me this image:
this looks amazing [thumbsup] my dad likes the car and we even went for the test drive.

terrano lookes better than the duster so we are more inclined towards the terrano but this special edition looks good.

price of this will be 9.99 lakhs all across india

we wanted to buy petrol but everyone is saying won't get good resale after 5 years [confused]

will show my dad this picture [:D] he's going to love it.

ps : the adventure edition is launched in Rxe model. not the rxl.

uploading the price list.

i just contacted the dealer , he said there are no exterior changes done to the car [frustration], just added airbags and ABS to the Rxl model (which costs 959000 rupees ex showroom) the special edition's price is 9.99 lakhs which comes to 11.26 rupees OTR. ( i believe the price is inclusive of additional packs as well )

Duster 4 X 4
I just bought Duster in May 2014. Anyhow this is a very good news for prospective Duster buyers. The wait seem to be worth.

Just wanted to know whether underbody coating is required for Duster. If someone had done it at 3M, please share the experience and cost

Not required, but since you live at hot and humid Madras, it won't hurt if you get it done. 3M offers you 2-3 packages at different price ranges (obviously:stupid:) for underbody coating; you could go for any one of them as per your budget.

Re: Renault Duster Road Test Drive Review

Thanks Sam.

One thing I noticed when I was driving last monday on the waters accumulated on the roads after heavy rain, the waters were splashing on the front windshield and it affects the visibility while driving at decent speeds. This seems to be a design flaw. Have to slowdown when you see huge water accumulation.

Completed 2k kms last week and got the appointment at khivraj renault for 1st service only yesterday. I called them upon on monday, 30th however got appointment only on 4th Jul. I was telling service advisor that rear passenger window doesnt roll down completely and he says thats the design, is it true? The windows roll down only to 3/4th.

One important info, for a pick up and drop service they charge Rs.250/- if you are within 6-7 km radius. As the first service being a general checkup, they did not charge me for anything. At the same time, interior cleaning was not at all done.

Re: Renault Duster Road Test Drive Review

Rear window doesn't roll down completely because the rear door is curved at the bottom to cater for the wheel arch.

Did you point out to the SA while taking delivery that the interiors were not clean?

Re: Renault Duster Road Test Drive Review

Thanks for the clarification.

I did not notice at the time of taking delivery of the car as I was waiting for almost 15 minutes and was in a hurry to take delivery. Did notice only after few kms of leaving the service centre however did send a SMS to the service advisor about this, there was no call / reply from him.

Other thing noted was tire pressure of spare wheel is 40 psi. Specifically told the Service Advisor to reduce it to 32 psi and this was also not done. I am going to take it up to the next level.

Re: Renault Duster Road Test Drive Review

A small clarification required on tire pressure. Mine is 110PS version and at the time of delivery I was told to maintain 33 psi however during first service, the service advisor informed to maintain it at 30 or 31 psi and not beyond this. Which one is right and is there a need to maintain different tire pressures for city and long drives ?

Hi Suresh. Stick with the officially recommended tyre pressure. You will find this placard on the driver's side door.
