Hi All,
Finally got delivery of my RXZ AWD White last friday. Initially booked the green colour but finally in stock yard i found White to be more classy than Green, so opted for White.
So Far 450 Kms done and enjoying it to the fullest. FE is around 16KMPL in city driving non ac.
Will share pics and ownership review soon.

it was a mix bag of year to me, I never owned Manza though I used to own Indigo which I sold in year 2012 to buy Aria 4x4, then I sold aria in dec 2013 and bought Verna 1.6 diesel, then sold it off in sep 2014, to buy Fortuner 2010 used one and sold it off in a month due to family pressure and now I own Duster RXZ 4x4.

Thanks a lot for your wishes and yes the FE figures are directly proportionate to the driving style, traffic and speed.
The Best I got so far is around 21 KMPL on an open road and at a speed of around 70 KMPH in 6th Gear. worst I have got is around 14 KMPL in B2B traffic of MG road.

These figures are of run in period and without AC.

So far done around 900 Kms and iam happy, yes a lot.

I am going to purchase Duster 85PS RXL Plus (Diesel) within next few days. I am getting a discount of Rs.88,000/- on this model till 31st March 2015.The original OTR for 2015 model Rs.12,60,704/-,but I am getting it at Rs.11,72,704/-.

I think it's a 2014 model, Don't think they will give 88k discounts on 2015 model.

Get insurance quote from outside. You will easily get it for 30k. And what are these essential and bodycare packs ?

Thanks for your most valuable advice.I will check the VIN once I got it.I firmly told the SA about cancellation of booking if it happens to be 2014 model.Till now,after several talks,SA confirms me about 2015 model.Let me check it before final purchase.

I will take in to account the insurance advice by you.

If u can help me in VIN decoding perfectly, I will make a good buy.Moeover I will check the recent (2015) up-gradation done by Duster in 85PS RXL Plus model.I think this may be the another way of assuring about 2015 model.

I was more interested in teranno , check the insurance amount after deduction.

I was getting 50000rs discount on a 2013 model on duster at that time. that's why i said it could be a 2014 model for you.
Don't go for body care package , i think it includes 3m paint sealent or underbody treatment. If you want get it done from 3m.

Ask him to give the essential pack as free , i think nissan's included god idol , mud flaps ,mats and maybe some more items but that costed 4000rs , renault is charging you 20000rs and in my price list has 5250 for the same. did the sales guy tell you what all is included in the package ?

Hii akash , great update. I too was searching and comparing the features and models of the duster. Do you have the latest price list ? Carwale's price and models specs seems confusing. So many models.

And what about the interior quality ? The new soft touch plastic ? Does it look premium ?

Price List will be arranged by Monday buddy no issue. As of the interiors, surely the seats and the dashboard do have improved significantly from previous looks. The seat fabric is well finished and fitting is also good as I have seen buddy.

Took a test drive of a Duster 85 XL Op model today. I was impressed with the ride and handling, but the engine , to me, felt a bit strained in terms of performance. As if it was held back from achieving more. I wonder if that is the natural behaviour of the 85 bhp version. Clearly, a step down from lets say, my Fiat Linea T-Jet. (I know it is not a fair comparison, but still).
The gearshift, had this kind of "wooden" feel and sound to it, especially when moving to the even gears (2nd, 4th). As if you were moving a wooden shaft, and not a mechanized metal object.

Check the above link and make sure your car has the same dials (odometer) as in the picture above. If 3 dials are present then go ahead and take the delivery.
