Hi,
Great review.
Helped so much to make my mind for ecosport.
One question though. I felt the backseat to be a little stiff. How is your experience with the backseat comfort?

Happy riding !! [:)]

Ya true Ash! I have not travelled in the back seats but my parents have said the seat is too thin. However, I think this will improve once I put on the seat covers as they come with a good dose of cushioning.

Dear Vicky90 congrats n your enjoyment fills our heart with euphoria for the wait for our darling[:D]. Today I saw one ES but it was visibly faster than the rest of the traffic.I'm thinking of putting engine guard, what do you suggest buddy?
If you are going for it to protect the looms from rats please go ahead buddy but other than that I dont find much valuable reasons for adding it.

vicky, wow you surely are enjoying this machine to the fullest.
thankyou for sharing some small yet significant details of ES, its drivebility and the sound insulation.Seems the Ford have hit the right sweet button with ES.
Ya buddy ! Thumps up to Ford [cheers]

Yes true. the seats really look awesome cool design.

What are you planning to install in the empty space of the 3.5" MFD screen? Do you thing a rear view camera screen or a GPS would be a good idea?

Nice mod Vicky, I think it gives totally a sporty appearance now, I like the color combination you have chosen and it matches the existing aesthetics very well.

Hope Ford sees these pics [clap]

Thanks buddy. Rite now I dont have any plans to install in the MFD space because anything done outside ford on wires or looms will void warranty :(

Could you please share the contact info of the guy. Thanks for the nice pics. The seat covers are superb
His name is Mr.Jainullabudhin- Leo Car Accessories.
Contact number is 9500106877. Can refer my name - Vivek-White ecosport.

vicy90 : Any updates on the fuel efficiency figures ? I TD'd an Ecoboost today (it was an urban discoveries one) - the trip meter had 4,200 kms and FE 17kmpl. I was really impressed by those figures. Is it realistic to expect those on 1.0 Ecoboost ?

Also, can you please upload snaps of the ISOFIX anchor points ? I'm still looking for child seats that have ISOFIX connectors.

Vivek, nice seat covers buddy. I think they are bucket fit seat covers. Design is really good and compliments you car in that color combination.
Thanks buddy and ya they are bucket fit covers.

Looks very nice and when mine arrives I will also contact this shop to get mine done. Thanks for the contact and info [:)]
Ya Neel refer my name in case if you go there.

Its wont be a safety issue buddy. And even if the guard is htere, the electricals are available all around the engine so it mayget affected even f the cover is there in place.
The sales manager usually does not know much on this because
1. He is from sales and do not know any xyz about technicals of the car except selling.
2. Even service personnel are very eager to know the performance of the car as it is not customer tested in India.
Engine covers are needed only to
1. Reduce heating of the external atmosphere ie to arrest heat radiation.
2. Reduce the NVH.

Hey thanks buddy! have made 1300 kms in 20 days :)

The fuel efficiency I am getting is around 18-20 kmpl 50% traffic condition and 50% highway which I think is good for a <1 month car. For exact figures please wait till I do my next tankfill. I dont know much about the anchor points, I will learn about it and update soon.
