My White Little Monster: Ford Ecosport Ownership Review

My White little Monster continues to impress each one who travels along :
Instance 1 : My friend gets in . I crank the engine and my friend says the sound of Petrol Engine is very less. Ya! You read it right . My friend said 'Petrol'. The sound cladding is awesomely efficient.

Instance 2 : Was travelling with my friend and I just like that asked him, " Buddy, just guess the speed without seeing the sppedo na."
He replies some 45-55 kmph? and speedo reads 100 kmph!! he went seeing it :)

Its nice that Ford has done excellent job insulating the sound, noise, vibrations etc but people need to really get used to the new 'Quieter environment' Ford built. Watch the speedo till you understand the dynamics and speed component.

BTW how many Kms already covered?

I experienced the same problem yesterday while driving my uncle's diesel ecosport. I almost banged an auto since I didnt hear him honk. The cabin is that well insulated. And the audio volume kept at 5 was loud enough.

Two weeks gone and covered 900 kms :) and ya even I was kind of taken aback once when the speed kind of misleaded me . But the brakes too are so good
On a serious note we need to seriously learn to be controlled in the quiet environment which ford has given.

@all Connected my car with reverse sensors today.
Ordered a Matte finish covers for the seats steering which will be fitted by Tuesday or Wednesday and 3m underbody coating coming soon in two weeks :)

Anisin and vivek thanks buddies . I will update on the USB very soon and even I don't know what to do with that. Only eye sore :( and mine does not have cruise control and ecosport does not have cruise control any model

Wow Congrats Vickey!!. I see that the Fuel Meter shows a bit less than Full. Did you refill her ? what is the avg approx mileage you are getting as of today.

Thanks a lot buddy. I filled the tank around 200 kms back . As I was not sure how much the dealer filled for me when I got delivery , I decided to fill fuel this time and measure it the best possible way. Out of the past 200 kms made after this tank fill, Nearly 120 kms is within city traffic and full ac. Let's see how the mileage turns up :)

Thanks a lot buddy. I dont know when I am going to get mine. The Dealer's GM said it hopefully it will be billed by ford on Tuesday..So that makes it another 1-2 weeks to get it hands on..Till that time we just depend on you to post pics and feel happy :)

Dear Vicky90 congrats n your enjoyment fills our heart with euphoria for the wait for our darling. Today I saw one ES but it was visibly faster than the rest of the traffic.I'm thinking of putting engine guard, what do you suggest buddy?
