Guy's did anyone installed alloys other than that comes from Ford? Any suggessions?

Thanks abhi . . the dealer will never promise a delivery date when we book its our follow up which will get the things done . After I got my vehicle alloyed , I got the vehicle on my convenient day.


my sa first told me that u will get your delievery somewhere around mid of sep but when i visited him today he told me that you will get your delievery somewhere around end of sep or around mid of october, so wat will u advice me to do.

Just keep asking him the reason. Probably he must have alloted your vehicle to someone. Not sure but just a chance. Try to tell him that you need the car as soon as possible by citing some reason.

saw them somwehere, thought to share and btw this alloy cost 3750 a peice from sai mag wheels.

But this is the labor cost right and not the actual cost of the spare parts? Kindly confirm. Did you get the list of spare parts cost by any chance? Do keep us updated.

Sai Mag wheels are looking very good! as my first service is over now, I am thinking to change wheels soon by retaining my steel wheels.

No squeaks and rattles till 2750 kms though I feel the interior could have been a bit better.
Feels better each day!
Mileage is improving now.
First it was 17.47 kmpl avg for 46 litres,
then it became around 17.71 kmpl for 45l avg,
now it is 18.22 kmpl for same 45l.

you can go for sai mag wheels but one thing they dont do fitment and other stuff..they just sell alloys and nothing else.

Will consider this as a serious option! also, will have a look at mostly good brands like plati, lenzo etc which comes less than 30k.

Hi All,
Finally all the late night researches, queries, calls are in vain....:(
Yes I'm thinking of cancelling my booking as my Mom is not convinced with the Ecosport. Unlike others, from day-1 only she is not convinced with the modern, sporty looks of it and started comparing it with Innova comforts (truly Innova's comfort is no way matchable but also I agree they are from different segments and actually we should not compare). So finally she decided to go with Innova once again.

And in this confusion stage, I've got a call from Kaikan Ford that I'll be getting my Ecosport delivery in the next week. Color: Blue, variant: Diesel Trend (it has just shipped from Chennai).

So, if anyone is interested but hit by the long queue, can take my booking at NO EXTRA COST....
Also if you are interested in any other variant/color and want my booking, can contact me as basically I've booked it with Variant option "Open" (Trend/Titanium/Optional), color option: Silver/Grey/Blue/White. I hope my booking(for Titanium) will also make it's place in the next shipment.
