i dont know how ecosport owners will feel at 170kmph wid 205 tyre size but with 225 hankook tyre its like doing 120kmph at 170kmph.
tyre and alloy upgrade was must for me looks + better ride quality.
even i got leather seat covers in my ecosport same as tit (0) in my titanium, plus Hid's in headlamp and fog lamp 12k kelvin. [roll]
Hi Rahul,

1. Please give us the detailed cost break up of upgrading to new tyres.

2. Can you shed some more light (pun intended) on the HID set up you have on your Ecosport? We would love to see some pictures. How much did they cost? Which brand did you go for? Do they blind the oncoming traffic? What about the low beam and high beam set up? Does the dipper work properly?

yes i am talking about titanium.
i have taken my ecosport on highway last sunday and it was doing 120-140kmph normaly and its too smooth at that speed you will not feel you are going too fast between that day she did 170kmph top speed really i am amazed wid it i thought it can do max 160kmph.

i will be getting k&n airfiltter and tuning box after 1st oil change.
Wow Wow, a true enthusiast you are buddy, and very happy to hear that Ecosport can cross 160, and for an SUV (200 mm GC)its great and that too with just 1.5 litres, with Filter I think pickup and acceleration will be improved and best part is I have heard that mileage wont vary, it will remain the same

Crossed 3000 kms today:)

3000 km update !
Significants:
Niggles : Have got a small paint peel off in the scuff area. Culprit must be me or the person who cleans the car thrice a week. (Sorry @1980rs500 forgot the pic )

Rattle : once heard a very irritating rattle noise and had my heart in my mouth hearing it. stopped the car, searched from where I got the noise from and the culprit was a 1 re coin [:D] after removing it, no rattles. Even today tested it but did not hear anything. Sound insulation is truly top notch and the paints too.

Performance : Asks for more and more every time I press the pedal. Even though it has almost crossed the run in, I do not go more than 2000 rpm. Sweet love you see [;)]

Handling : Truly awesome for me! very light steering at single digits and hard at highs. that said, high speed cornering must be taken with care owing to the high CG.

1 st free service : Nothing except top ups and the AC performance has visibly improved after the first service. At fan speed of 1, it chills everyone so well better than how it was before!

Practicality : very flexible storage area gave us enough space for a weekend trip for 4, a rice bag of 25kgs and the compact dimensions help a loooooot during parkings and zipping through traffics.

Overall :
Very happy with the little monster and happier for booking her right on the first day the booking started.
buddy break up period is over naa, we need more pics of your beast, and waiting for Vicky90s upgrades too

@vicky90 I just wanted to know whether you will be upgrading like @Rahul Tewathia, I think the 225/R16 is a very important and much needed upgrade for Ecosport as the stability handling and comfort as well as Safety is getting upgraded with it, but its one shot upgrade and if you have enough budget only go for one of these,
Enjoy your ride bro!

Hey Rahul,
Thanks for these inputs.

Since the Ecosport has H4 stock bulbs, was the HID a plug and play set up? Is the color blue or white?
Also, can you please tell us the source of these lights? I'm interested in them as well. Thanks.

@all specifically anisin who has enquired about USBs usage. I understand that you would have already pioneered in the usage but a help for prospects :)

Plonk an USB in the slot and select Aux-in option on the dash.
The system will automatically start playing songs from first.
In case if you change to either radio or someother option and revert back, the system will remember the song which was played last and will continue playing.
Think its same in all cars.
In case, if you want to browse through albums and continue playing a particular album, press menu button while playing USB and then select the option of your choice.
Options available ( as i remember)
All songs, playlists, artists, albums etc.
and with the help of steering mounted controls, we can increase or decrease volume and browse through songs alone and not through folders.

Hi Vicky, Special Thanks for your wonderful review.

I've booked the same variant, same colour, in same dealership [;)] (MPL Pallikaranai) and awaiting for the White Demon. Have you tried adding up a Sub-woofer/Amp with the OEM Audio system?? Or any of the forum members have tried this??

Congrats buddy! Welcome to the league :)
I find the stock audio system very good in terms of clarity and absence of jarring noise.
I did not find a reason to add woofers and amps and I think many other owners too may agree on what I said regarding the sound quality.
But if added thats gonna be a blast for sure![clap]
