My White Little Monster: Ford Ecosport Ownership Review

I have a query for Titanium owners, not sure if this is applicable to Trend owners too.
In the MID it shows - 13.3km/l which is the instant mileage I see, it may vary 0.1 or 0.2 depends on the current traffic situation and driving style. I do a next tap, and it shows 18kmph, what does this mean? If it is mileage of the car why is it kmph instead of kmpl. I am certain its not average speed, as till date my running is mix and match of city and Highway, and most of the times I am driving between 60-90kmph keeping it under 2rpm level.

Ron, Trend does not have MID which displays mileage in figures. just a digital bar which keeps varying based on accelerator input.

1.stock 205 mrf zv2k given back to tyre shop 5k per tyre and got new hankook 225 tyre in 9k i will let you know all that i am in profit or loss after upgrading depends in how much someone will buy my stock alloys from me.

2. after upgrading to hid's light focus is really gud as i am used to hid's i have fitted these in my all cars.
for pictures look down it costed me 5500 for headlight it has h4 bulb and 4800 for fog lamp it has h11 bulb i have got imported brand made in brazil it comes wid 1 year wrranty so no issue,yes hid do blind oncoming traffic but you can use low beam its ok but if someone is comming with high beam and you were not able to see just switch to high and goo on after this he will low his light for sure.
low and high beam both are same as any other car.i didnt liked its dipper its kind of slow.

It means 18kmph (Kilometer Per Hour) is the average speed of the vehicle, if I am not wrong.

I feel It is somewhat small in width wise, but i cant see any comment on this from anyside. Can the owners thru their ideas and facts on this.

Awesome Sooroj! All the best and enjoy your ride :) And ya, the MID area looks odd for the otherwise awesome looking interiors but there are many alternatives available where you can fit 3.5'' displays.
Check it out in eBay or Aliexpress bro.

Never I have felt the front passenger seating area was insufficient as I am medium built. But ya, it is not as wider as in DUster but defenitely seats me very comfortably. If you are not heavily built its not a big deal bro.

even i was thinking same thing after testdrive but now i am liking it i am not so healthy its good for me as vickey bro said. but if you are healthy enough then it might be problem other wise its totally fine.

Tried updating the SYNC on my Little Beast. (thanks to FORD for the design of website, tried various combinations & atlast bluffed the system).
1. Didn't keep the engine running
2. Got initial message as "installation complete"
3. After waiting for 25 minutes got message as "Masters reset".

Attached are snapshots of the the SYNC showing the details.

---- Does this mean the SYNC has been updated ??

Also had issue of rattling type sound from the boot door. Had a check with the Service Centre & found some loose bolts which after tightening, has arresting the noise.

Ish, review may take sometime, I am little stuck and will be until next month. Other details:
Date of Booking - 2nd June'13 - Kinetic Blue
Dealer - Harpreet Ford, Moti Nagar
Model - 1.5 D Titanium
Booking number - 168
Had it been a Silver or White I would have got the car with a month's time.
September - Dealer asked me to change the color, due to some production issues with Blue. I gave him two option Sea Grey and Panther Black, but finally freezed on Panther Black, and pushed for quick delivery, as it was already over 3months + price hike
September mid - Got a confirmation car was dispatched from Chennai on 12th Sept, got VIN from dealer - Its September Manufactured (Happy about that)
23rd Sept'13 - Car reached the dealer stockyard in Gurgaon, couldn't take the delivery due to Shradh, asked them to complete the registration process and I will take delivery in Festive season 'Navratri week'.
Got my Magneto - that's what I call her, as expected on 6th Oct'13. My 80% of the experience with the Dealer has been good and transparent. I don't have any regrets apart from Price hike , although I am happy that my car got Push Button and Key-less, and Goodyears . According to the dealer, all cars delivered post October, will not feature these two.
