thanks buddy! and congrats on your posession! the TAI PDI is vast and robust that it gives a lot of details to look about.
Important thing is after you take the delivery, do not miss to clean the car only with a scratch resistant cloth. My headlight has a hair line crack because of cleaning cloth and it aches whenever I have a touch of it :(
Oh that's sad to hear. So looks like the headlight surface is very sensitive. Will be more careful with this and thank you for letting me know, will make note of this.

Dude! seriously need your help in creating playlist . help me with step by step procedure na.
Hi Vicky,

I guessed I figured it out my self. follow the below steps in your Laptop

1. Keep all the songs of the album in 1 folder. eg. Grand Masti[:D]
2. Open the Folder and select all the songs Ctrl+A
3. Right click and click Play in Windows Media Player.
4. Once Media Player Opens go to the Library View
5. Look on the right side, and you will get an icon called List Options, Click that.
6. Select Save List as and then save it in the Folder that you created i.e Grand Masti in this case. Make sure you name name the play list accordingly, its better to keep it the same as the album name.

The extention of the playlist will be .wpl

Please try this and let us know. I didnt get my car yet hence cant try it.

Hope it works

Dude! This is not tragedy, you are really lucky . But yes you are missing 4 airbags. Anyways congrats :)

Tomorrow taking my ES to banglore for the first time at 1670 kms for a long trip in my life! I am super excited on this! wow
Hi Vicky. I just used the windows media player. I created a playlist for each movie.. Like Ashiqui2 is a playlist and i dragged songs into this. after creating 10 playlists I copied the songs folders and the playlist files to my USB stick.

Pls note playlists files by default get created in C:\Users\username\MyMusic folder.

After this when you plug in you have to navigate through the playlists.

Hi Vicky, anisin the method I have mentioned works for me. I am using this currently.
The difference here is i save the playlist files in the root of USB stick and not inside the specific folder. In Anisin's case he has stored it inside the "GrandMasti" folder i think.

Yes venkat you are right..Glad to see that the playlists atleast works.

But How tough is it to search and switch through playlist? can it be done using the steering mounted controls?

Please let us know in how many clicks it can be done considering a playlist is being payed

Back from chennai-Banglore-hosur-banglore-hosur-Chennai drive covering 900 kms. Enjoyed each and every bit of riding it.

Pros :
Excellent highway manners. Pure excellency. Was in 140km/hr with loaded boot and 3 passengers including me and it never felt like I was in that speed.Mild turns were taken with aplomb.
Eye catcher all the way.
Very convenient riding position.
Boot was very sufficient for a 4 day trip with a 25kg bag paked in along with other bags.
3 way adjustable seat is a boon for elders.
Leg room is more than sufficient for medium builts.
Responsiveness of the 1.5D engine is impressive.
Mileage is excellent. Filled the tank and topped up 9 ltrs and after 900 kms there is around 30% fuel left.
Handling is super easy and the steering stiffens very well at speeds with minimal under and over steer.
Multistage and multispeed wiper blades were very effective.

Cons :
Sharp bumps send in shocking thuds inside cabin due to stiff suspension.
Headlights were not sufficient in heavy rains.

Hi Vivek,

Glad to see that you are keeping the thread alive.
I liked your seat covers, will contact Leo Car accessories when I get my ES delivered.
I did not find any mention about insurance in your thread. Did you go with dealer llinked insurance or outside? And who is the insurance provider?

Regards

.
really nice to see your white monster on highway [:)] .

BTW i have a question for you. Actually i am not able to figure out the immobiliser locking. Sometimes if i open any door and close it and again open another door and close, the immobiliser does not allow to start the car. In that case what i I have to do is get down from the car and lock and unlock the car with the remote. After that it starts. I am really confused [confused]

Hi D.J.D by saying - immobiliser does not allow to start the car - do you mean you press the clutch pedal but you are not able to turn on the ignition? This does happen with me also. Most of the times as the doors are heavy they do not get closed. we tend to open and close them again.

Vicky,

when the song is playing thru USB, press Menu multiple times and you will reach an option called Explore USB. when you press Ok, it will show folders and you can use up/down arrow in the top left to navigate further!.

btw, got a black trend from MPL, Taramani with tank full of diesel!
