They dont give any video feedback. It gives beeps from a small unit fit to the boot area. Will post the pics explaining it soon.

Sure buddy. I will update some more pics for you soon.

Great Vicky !!! Looking forward to the pics. Would love to see more of your baby in its current avatar.

Even I would do the same as you (ford alloys are not value for money) - go for some other alloys & risk warranty of my suspensions.

I understand that you are not going for the "Chrome Front Grill", you can afford to do it as it is Grey in color and does not look bad. In my case I will have to get this as my first accessory, the black ones on my Ambiente would just look damn horrible. The ford guys are quoting 9k which is just too much, any idea how much your dealer quoted you for the grill ? Or is there anyone with this information ( Bangalore specific info would be a plus) [roll]

Hey Bro! As I did not enquire about anything about chrome, I don't know anything about it .
Ya true! Ambiente really needs that chrome finish or atleast the grey ones as in trend as the dark middle area looks very bland.
I am taking her for a trip to Banglore this weekend:) So will surely make some pics :)

Hey Vicky, Hope you are enjoying your little monster to the full extent! Today I met an ES Titanium 1.5D owner and inquired about his experience with the car. He has covered almost 2000kms within 15days of his delivery. He was very happy with the vehicle except the high speed manners on highways. Can you please shed some light on your highway experience? Since I am expecting my 1.5D Tit(o) delivery by this weekend, was a bit worried.
On the other hand, During my test drive of the 1.5D, I did take the vehicle to around 110kmph, but I never felt any insecure feeling and didnt had any chance to push it more, but wanted to hear from you on how the monster behaves from 100kmph to 140kmph and what (Safe) top speed it can attain?

Hi Vicky

I am not able to play MP3 files from folders. Do you face this issue. This is what I did.

I copied some 10 folders with the movie names and mp3's inside them.
when I tried to play them the player just plays all the songs in sequence from Track 1.
I am not able to navigate through folders.

This is quite irritating. Can you help me...

Hey Vj, I have taken it for about 125 kmph till now and I felt the highway manners were very good. Moreover my house and my office both are in highways so I do a lot of highway runs and found the stability so good!

Hi venkat,
I feel thats the way it works. i have not tried using my USB. I have heard people saying that it does not recognize albums and considers only the whole list.

@All Mileage update : with my last tank fill, I got at about 17.5 kmpl with 40% severe traffic and 60% highways with less traffic and 100% AC all the time.

Thank you for your input Vicky. I did take one more test drive and pushed it a bit more and I found the stability a whole lot better compared to my old dzire and is definitely worth as an upgrade for me.

On the flip side, I heard that Ford is preparing to launch the new Endeavour next year and going by the pics, it does look a stunner with Ecosport like looks front and back. I guess this big beast will be a sensible upgrade for me from Ecosport in the next two years [clap]

Thanks Vicky.

After doing a lot of googling I arrived at a work around. I created playlists for each folder i created. then after plugging in I selected the playlist manually and played.

Guys, here's the tragedy of my ecosport :)
First I did book the AT variant on 13th of June and last month SA told me I need to wait until October which was not possible so booked ES tdci Tit O variant and was assured delivery anytime in August. Today morning I had been to the dealer and he offered me Titanium Tdci and in White which I did give it a go and asked him to freeze the vehicle for me. So finally its Ecosport Titanium TDCI and I am quite happy, only thing I will miss is the additional 4 airbags, but then my mind said, hey its good to have 4 additional airbags but when do you really think you need them? Thought for a while and asked the SA to give me the Titanium version.
The vehicle is in transit and should reach Belgaum in 4 to 5 days. Really excited and equally thankful to the SA who offered me the option to switch over at the end moment and gave me the preference.

@Vicky: I was all hell bent towards safety and was super happy with the safety kit Ford provided in the top models of Ecosport, but the excitement got tampered with the wait periods and hence I couldn't resist anymore. I was badly in need of Ecosport so finalized with Titanium as it was available and was billed to the dealer from Ford.

The SA, Mr Shivshankar did play a BIG role in getting me the vehicle this early and was super co-operative throughout the waiting process. In the due course of time for the last two months, we have become two buddies discussing about all the aspects about Ecosport and many a times he has really tolerated me a lot as I use to follow him up with at-least three to four visits in a week and daily 3 to 4 messages and calls.[lol]

Also, please do let me know if you have any special instructions/points to take care of while taking delivery. I do have the PDI points printed from TAI and will be doing PDI accordingly. Apart from this if I need to pay attention on any particular aspect, please do let me know as you are already an Ecosport owner.

Also wish you a happy, lovely and memorable journey in your Ecosport!

thanks buddy! and congrats on your posession! the TAI PDI is vast and robust that it gives a lot of details to look about.
Important thing is after you take the delivery, do not miss to clean the car only with a scratch resistant cloth. My headlight has a hair line crack because of cleaning cloth and it aches whenever I have a touch of it :(
