@Manish whoa you did manage to get one helluva deal there , but did you mean 4.5k or 45k cash discount as EXMT would have costed much lesser with 45k cash discount.

@coldfire you got a good deal too given only one dealer .

Thanks both of you i now have some idea about what i can ask for . The problem though as i said is , Magnum is able to deliver it quickest and the response from other dealers has been nothing great. They gave the same insurance free offer ans said it will take one month and we have so and so color available. Also i have already done the booking in Magnum, do you folks feel i can bargain any more and also considering the demand for Amaze and its impact on production of BRIO whether i would be able to get Red SMT in a few weeks. Anyhow i will try to ask for more once i go to make full payment. Are Reverse parking sensors useful? I guess the various bumper and side protectors are also useful right? I will try to ask for these.

I doubt that. Once you book the vehicle, thats it. Its like deal closed.
Try bargaining as much as you can. You are only gaining here.

Reverse parking is not necessary in a brio is what I feel. Brio gives a superb visibility with almost no blind spot what-so-ever. The rear being glass will give you a good vision when driving reverse. Its only a matter of self-confidence [;)]

Bumper protectors are useful and I feel its a must have. Side protectors are useful but again not necessarily.

It is 45K dude. Regarding reverse parking sensor, if you are able to get for free than fine otherwise not required. Better to ask for other accessories. In my case i booked first with whitefield HONDA, got it cancelled from them and went ahead with Magnum because of the accessories offered for free.

That was financial year ending so got the better deal for the same month manufactured car[clap].

Askfor zero dep insurance if u already have not,

i think if they are giving u insurance free, its only comprehensive. I got my VMT from magnum kanakapura 2, completed 1 yr today:)

Thanks Ajay , i will try bargaining and see what i get . i agree Brio's visibility is great and RPS would have been good if given free but not required. I will try to get whatever protectors i can find , though find the cost a lil on higher side with dealer. any idea how good the ones sold on ebay are?

Wow nice timing and negotiation , i just thought that with 45k cash discount and insurance + ext warranty free the cost would have been about 4.7OTR.

@Sid_Cruiser Negotiate at the time of PDI of the car , once you have made payment , it's closed deal they won't budge after that , Go visit other dealers in person on phone they won't give you good deal .
Thanks coldfire , i will surely try to negotiate during PDI and problem wit other dealers is they will take a lot more time to deliver.

Yeah darkkid its only comp insurance , i did try to ask for 0 dep but couldn't bargain hard as was in a hurry to get done and head to office. How has the experience been with the car and dealer ?

Brio Owners , i know the boot space is on the lower size but how does it hold up for regular runs to the department store etc. Would i be able to carry a guitar case in it comfortably ? I know for trips to the railway station(or long trips) with 3-4 people on board it could be an issue .

Also , i observed that the rear window doesn't roll down fully , does this cause any issues safety wise ? The power window switches too are not the best , but how durable are those ?

Finally , if i don't manage to get any extra accessories from the dealer free, should i still buy it from him or can i buy it from Ebay(or any local shop)? Are the accessories from Honda or Dealer gets it himself . If we buy them from Ebay , can they be installed by us itself? i am mostly talking of bumper and side protectors.

Magnum honda guys are the worst guys to bargain with , tbh,
Dealership exp ws ok, nothing grt 2 write home about. The good thing is dilipa (my sales guy from magnum, kanakapura) kept calling like a lot and kept me appraised. Kudos 2 him

apart from a cash disc of 5k, i got nothing :(

On a side note, completed 1 yr with briooooooooooooooo today :)

Boot can carry two Medium sized suitcases or bags but nothing Big .

Rear Windows doesn't roll completely due to Safety feature which All Honda cars have , i have seen this feature in Ford cars , and child lock feature in rear is also good add on safety feature.

You can buy all Cleaning kits from Snapdeal or Ebay , there is no Custom Honda accessories available in after Market , Side Protectors and Bumper Protectors available in after market are not made keeping Honda Brio in mind , it might look little out of place , so be very careful regarding that .

Exactly what I meant. Things you can get for free never go waste. Try to get the maximum deal.

You can go for the basic accessories on ebay or any other online portal. The products sold are quite good. The genuine honda accessories are not available online or anywhere aftermarket. You will have to fetch them manually from the dealer

The boot space is more than good for a guitar or a departmental store drive (My friend had a guitar and fitted in the boot). It can carry 2-3 travel bags (those V.I.P ones). If you are 2 on board then you can roll down the rear seat. This is where I badly missed the Jazz magic seats.

How will the safety be affected if the rear window doesn't roll down completely? The switches are quite good if not the best. We have been using them nuts and bolts. Its been bearing us for so long[;)]

The accessory if ordered at the dealer place then they will be honda authorised, else make sure you get the genuine honda add-ons.
