My All New Honda Brio VX MT

Got the 2 and half year service done at magnum honda yeshwanthpur. Total cost of 3500/-
Pretty decent job with the servicing but they forgot to keep the manual back in the car after the entry of service record.

Well, odo says 27k kms. But it was a 50k service (2n half years). I would upload a pic by evening

I am enjoying the car, however there is a minor issue.

1) When i go over small humps diagonally there is a tak sound from the rear. Initially I thought it is coming from the tool set in the spare wheel, but i have checked everything, even drove without spare wheel and tools and the sound is still there. Any idea what else can it be?

2) Mild vibrating sound can be heard during acceleration from transmission when car is slow. This is not the usual lugging sound. Is this normal? My guess is that it is exhaust heat shield,

Nothing to be replaced. It was a normal service. Oil changes, normal wash and tyre rotation.

If you have checked without the tyre and tool then I am not really sure what else it could be. Are you sure it isn't kissing the roads on humps?
If it ain't then why do go diagonally on the humps?

i have not experienced anything like this too. The shift tends to be rigid sometimes and i can corelate that to the "Mild vibrating" but i have not heard any sound as such.

Why are you paying 3500 rs for normal service ? I'd recommend going to a local mechanic or bosch service centers to save some money. Get 3-4 services done from outside and then get one done from the sc. Won't cost you more than 2k rs.

Why are you paying 3500 rs for normal service ? I'd recommend going to a local mechanic or bosch service centers to save some money. Get 3-4 services done from outside and then get one done from the sc. Won't cost you more than 2k rs.

I actually thought of the same but postponed it to the next service. Thanks for the suggestion though. You made my thoughts stronger

It's always a nice feeling to see a fresh and clean Brio, especially in red The clean practical no-nonsense cabin definitely uplifts the mood. It's torture for me to keep wondering whether to take the plunge and get the Brio.
