Hello Mr.Ajay , just spent quite a bit of time reading all the pages of your ownership review and what a wonderful car this is. The handling is like a go-kart stays flat at all speeds and regarding the suspension being hard, all honda cars from brio to civic(now discontinued) provide really bad ride quality [frustration]. Anyways the Brio looks smoking hot in that red colour. Congrats on getting it and wishing you tons and tons of happy miles with it. Just waiting to get my drivers license after three years then lets see which car i get[evil]. BTW, have you TD'ed the Grand i10? If yes, then how is the engine in acceleration compared to Brio?

Hello CarLover. Thank you for your wishes.
I have driven it but it cant be called a TD as such. I am just pointing my view. Grand i10 overtook the brio in only one aspect when it comes to engine (I am not pointing towards the list of features that it offers), and that's in the low speed pick up. It picks up easily. The accelaration, linear power delivery, the ride stability and the rest, brio steals the show.

@CarLoverJosh
Firstly you can wait till 2017 for you're license & at the same time the 2nd Gen Brio will be launched.
Taking about current Brio, there is one word for it"Excellent" car. It's very hard to get a car with very good rev happy engine with slick gearbox. Brio has that, then there is the low stance which aids handling and the car handles beautifully. Steering has good feedback by EPS standards, grip is good and car has very minimal body roll. Its a car enthusiasts will love driving around. Then there are other things like small turning radius and excellent all round visibility. Which makes it a Practical small car for city commuting. Yes many have not liked the interiors and rear look, but those are just minor things. Apart from that I don't think there are any bad bits about that car.

Could you give us the breakup Ajay? Have you opted for Synthetics by any chance?

My ride is due for 3rd year service this weekend, ODO reading about 30k kms, yet no service total went beyond 3.8k to date.

Hi guys,

It had the regular service which included oil changes and labour charges. I had opted for addons like interior germ cleaning pack, wax and polish and exterior detailing, wheel allignment and rotation, rodent protection in the engine bay. The total cost of 7914/- was including all these.

Hi Ajay

What is rodent protection treatment, can you elaborate on that and how much it cost. It would be better if you post the breakup of bill charges[:D]. I also want to take my brio for exterior detailing and interior cleaning.

Any Brio owners having urban titanium (UT) colour here? Does this colour show more dirt than usual non-dirt pullers like silver? I ask because my Alto 800 (glistening grey) and i10 (grey) are quite a pain to wash frequently because dust starts showing some hours after a tiring wash. I have made up my mind about getting the Brio. It's down to which colour now. Have set sights on UT, but wondering if it would show dust easily as my other two cars. UT colour Brio owners, your observation will come in handy for me.

Hi Roadrunner,

I have a 3.5 year old UT and it still looks good.
I wanted to have silver but wifey wanted to have red/blue, I am glad that we settled on UT.
Here's the Pic of my Brio (EMT) after a 300 kms drive.. :)

I too have a Urban Titanium Brio and it surely looks mature. Dirt won't show at all unless you are beside the car. In fact with rainy season going on, the water & dirt mixture doesn't show up easily compared to other colors and even betters the silver. So you can go ahead with this color. BTW which variant have you decided ?

V MT. ABS-EBD but no airbags. At the risk of sounding silly, I don't want airbags. Lucky for me that Brio has option for ABS and no airbag in this trim. I feel uncomfortable driving small vehicles with driver airbag. It's an incurable phobia. Hope it doesn't cost me.

I also have a Brio in UT colour. Yes, this colour shows more dirt compared to light colours like silver/white etc. But I still prefer this because I found this colour quite attractive and mature.
