Dear All,

An Important Update: Maruti Suzuki Dealers have been advised to carry out a proper PDI check on the yet-to-be delivered Ciaz models. What I have seen today is that in the initial batch of vehicles allocated to my uncle's dealership, not 1 but 2 Ciaz have undergone Clutch pedal check because there was a niggle with the Clutch release baring.

This problem should not be there in automatic version...or should I check with dealer who never mentioned such thing.

I got my Ciaz delivery yesterday, I would say it is best looker in C segment. Large & elegant. [:)]

Congrats on the car buddy. AT does not have this issue it was for the MT version and has been taken care at the dealership itself before the delivery of vehicle.

Despite my best efforst and request to both Maruti and dealer, I am unable to get any price list for Maruti Genuine Accessories. I ordered some of them and got the price but the rest....unknown.

Anyone having the price-list for Ciaz accessories?

Hi ALL,

Did a TD again of petrol ciaz to check the power and milage of the car in less traffic scenario.

1.) Fuel efficiency: i got around (as per MID)22.1KMPL on a TD of around 15-16 kms on gurgaon expressway with AC on.
2.) Diesel drivers might feel low end torque less, as in diesel you just have to release the clutch no need to press the accelrator but in petrol you have to depress the pedal a bit to get going in B2B traffic.
3.) No noise, ride was supple, and music system was good.
4.) handling was good too.
5.) I managed to confortably cruise at 80KMPH to extract the mileage of 22.1 KMPL. we were two people in car and ac was on.

Still i prefer the diesel due to much easier drivability due to low end torque. I beleive on the same stretch diesel would have given me around 30KMPL.

There is a disadvantage of Pearl snow white Ciaz: I found few small dots of greasy material on my car bonnet on one morning. I used shampoo to wash it off. Most of it got off but faint yellow stains still could be seen on white pearly paint.......any idea from community to remove/vanish them .

I was so much busy adoring my "White Pearl" that I actually did not click any pics except what was clicked at the time of delivery by showroom people. Will get some nice one and post. Thanks.

Please take my words, this model from Maruti will beat any competition in coming days, I saw everyone coming to the car and praising the looks and presence. It is not what looks in pictures on TV or computer, much better. No one should make any opinion on Ciaz without actually looking at it and taking a TD. I hope Maruti gives me a quality ownership experience too.

Does anybody have any inside information regarding ciaz coming with 1.6 Diesel engine ? If s-cross is coming with 1.6 then why not ciaz ? Currently ciaz is the crown jewel of Maruti.

Buddies,

Maruti Ciaz's Z+ Variant could be launched as Ciaz RS with a body kit and a spoiler at approx INR 30,000 increase.
I hope they don't spoil Ciaz's image by giving it a "sporty" look. It is not for people screaming past roads in car with multiple stripes & funny looking so-called spoilers in bright colors & stickers but for guys looking a comfortable and cool ride travelling with family and to work.

It's upto the owners to decide. There must be some takers that's why maruti's planning to launch this model with sporty look. From your reply , it seems you don't like these extra features but you can't say that it makes no sense to add this stuff just because it's a family car.
