Ex showroom for VDi is 8.11 (Diff of 90k) so probably ZDi with Ex-showroom 8.64 will cross 9.5L easily.

Zxi ESR-7.47 and OTR 8.3L..interesting (diff of 77k only)..

The integrated music system that comes with ZDI is Kenwood cd player+aux+usb. Detailed specifications still unknown to me. Can anybody suggest-
1) Is it good one to retain?
2) Is upgrade to a touch screen one possible?
3) Will remote buttons on steering wheel work after upgrade?
4) Is buyback of existing on offer or one should go for LDI and then upgrade?

Got a chance to look for Ertiga in Maruti Showroom, to be honest the rear seat space is very low even for 5.5+ ft people, the middle seat has to be pushed literally so as to get the leg space for the last row resulting in the space loss of the 2nd row.

The doors are very big. But the quality of plastics used is promising.

This is a case of not good product but HERD MENTALITY.
What if Ertiga had been launched by Fiat or Ford ? [thinking]
BTW, are these 11k new bookings or they also include shifted bookings from swift/dzire ? The new dzire on avg got 25% bookings as shift bookings from swift buyers, & in some cities it was as high as 40%.

Today I saw ertiga at linking road bandar it was a test vehicle from the front it is exactly like ritz when I saw it from side I knew it is ertiga .
Though iam not planning to buy it I liked the way it looked . Just if maruti could have changed the front end in some more creative way it would have been more nice . Nevertheless good for maruti they will sell a lot of ertiga,s for sure.

I am sure since ertiga is 6 lac cheaper than Innova it will at least make 15% innova buyers move to ertiga.

Even taxi guys can now buy ertiga and have 2 options
1) Innova for customers who are willing to pay more
2) Ertiga for customers who are willing to pay less

Innova sales will now be stagnant or negative for sure

SX4 will be history for sure

Well, I don't quite agree with this for the simple reason Ertiga is not 6/7 seater in true sense. Yes, cabs may be there but it will be spaced between Vista & Innova but surely not Innova. If I make 200 km trip in ertiga with all seats occupied, I will come out of this big hatch vibrating .

Remember the Ford Fusion ? Ertiga is the same with 2 baby seats throw in. You call Ertiga as spacious hatch, thats all.

And for price difference, please compare diesel with diesel.

* PS:- Buyers buying Ertiga will be those of SX4 or big hatch but surely they are the ones who can't afford innova at first place.
