Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched!

Guys,

Need some info please.

After leaving the car unattended 2 days in front of home, today morning when I pressed the unlock key on the fob it sounded TUK-TUK-TUK. Normally it just does TUK-TUK when we press the unlock and TUK when we lock it. Don't know the reason why it sounded 3 TUKs. [surprise]

Apart from this once I went inside the car and pressed the start button, i heard beeps for about 3 secs. And I didn't see any warning on the MID also. [roll]

Anyone know the reason for this ? Please make me understand what 3 tuk's means ?
Actually it is the second time that happened like this in a span of 4 days.

The alarm would have triggered when the car was armed, and then when you unlock it, you get more "Tuk"s. The warning beeps would also have been for the same reason.

@Sandeep, "Apart from this once I went inside the car and pressed the start button, i heard beeps for about 3 secs. And I didn't see any warning on the MID also. "

May be because of battery voltage down due to multiple times alarm trigger. Next time when you observe three times tuk sound, check battery voltage.

suryaputra,

its because someone tried to open the car with the key when it was locked. Dont worry. The next time you unlock it, you should get two beeps

Read that manual please

Thanks Ice_wise and Suryaputhra.

Seems someone is trying to open the door or something. But I doubt if the alarm have been ON for sometime because no one complained me as such. [roll] I need to be more extra vigilant.

How to make the alarm trigger when someone tries to open the door ? I am seriously confused about the shock sensors thing in MID. The manual also doesn't have proper information on the shock sensors.

@ Suryaputhra, Can you please share me the part numbers of Baleno Sigma Variant
  • Front Grill
  • The lining around the AC Vents
  • The Console near the gear Rod

The black chrome at all these interior areas looks good. Just wanted to see if they are in budget price I can change them whenever I feel bored with the interiors.

May be someone in your family or the washer guy tried to open with the key instead of the FOB. Its a common error. The alarm would have sounded and the person would have pressed the unlock button, then it would have stopped. However, next time you unlocked, it will beep thrice

In my case i set alarm level and sensor level 15 even a small craker sound triggers the alarm. Sandeep did your alarm active. Even alarm not active also you get tuk sound three times if some one touch your car or operate handle. i will check the MID beep sound tomorrow.

I have done some security settings in my Baleno Delta. And now it gives 3 'tuk' sounds while locking or unlocking.

Earlier is was giving just once.

Not sure what has gone wrong or right. :(

I feel i just updated security as 'S2-SL1' (Enable shock sensor).

After enabling the shock sensor setting, i locked it using remote and and tried to unlock it using key, then alarm was triggered and i unlocked and locked it using remote.

But now it always gives 3 'tuk' sounds while locking and unlocking.

Have you started the car with the key subsequently? Once you do that, it should go back to normal 2 beeps

Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched!

Car in 1st service today

Horn is behind bumper. The ASC cant change it. They aren't willing to put in a aftermarket horn either. That's exactly opposite of what they said previously. So they are saying the horn will be as it is.

Steering drift issue pointed out. However they say that normally cars will drift to the left as the road is crowned. If after applying correction, it drifts right, that means correction is not correct. That also stupid. Its like saying our product is OK, you don't drive it in the right way. This guy says if the car drifts a little every 40M, its normal. That's so dumb. Anyway, the workshop did find some minor misalignment which he has corrected.

Issue of bouncy ride in the back was pointed out. In fact I took the SA with me and he himself informed rear ride is bouncy. Later he checked the suspension and informed all is ok. He even drove another car of the same type and informed that the ride is bouncy in that also. Thats is like saying, the rear ride is like this only.
Then he dropped a bomb- said my tyre pressure was 23psi. I told him I had put in nitrogen in a warm car at 29psi. If the ride was this bouncy at 23psi, what will it be like at 29?

Finally I spoke to the Maruti territory manager and informed him of the ride as that is my main issue. He informed that if all cars are similar, there is nothing he can do. I told him that if all cars are similar, everything is to be done by him only. He said if enough complaints come in, he will pass the feedback on to management. So that means they will only solve the issue if there is a hue and cry. Ok then, lets make it.

I urge all Baleno owners to check if they have the steering and bouncy rear ride issue and inform Maruti at service. Lets make them resolve our complaints

I find the rear bouncy as well. But the steering seems rock solid at high speeds as well. But changing from a ford fiesta to this, i seriously find the rear seat comfort inadequate and definitely bouncier.

Hello friends,

Need help, My Silver Baleno got some scratches on Bonnet area. Just above the left hand headlight, It looks like work of some kids. These are deep scratches. How can I get them removed.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks
Ask the service centre at the first service. Mine they happily obliged since they were minor scratches.
