You do hv the full authority to reject the accessories if u dont want. They cant force you. U can either buy the nomad mats 3m outside or check out DIY nomad mats which i hv posted just above and save few bucks.

Hi - This is my 1st post here. Booked a Baleno Delta petrol - PSilver in July end, and just got allotment. Hopefully will get delivery in next 10 days.
I have read most of the posts here, and have got lot of info that I wanted. Thanks a lot. I have a few questions -
1. I would like to put the chrome handles, and chrome back spoiler for the car. Anyone aware of options to buy and install in Bangalore?
2. Is it worth to go for the 16 inchers without alloys - what difference it would make - mileage, comfort etc? Any suggestions in Bangalore where I can get it done?
3. In the Alpha varient, there is a side chrome beading - is it available to buy and instal? pricing?
4. Plan to the sun-tint stickers installed in the front windshield + sides from 3M ? anyone having any experience, please share? any equal quality alternatives?
5. Sports pedal? Nexa dealer does not have stock of the same?
6. Good contact in Bangalore to get seat covers (something black) done?

Thanks.... looking forward to your help with these long list of questions.
Sorry I am not good at any of this installations, and would like to get this done by an expert. so references in Bangalore would be very useful.

INFOTAINMENT System for Non-Alpha varients :
See the attachment - an extra frame is needed, which can be bought from car accessories shop.
WoW !!! This looks really cool. I was looking for something like this to install in my much-awaited Baleno Delta (delivery expected in 10 days) . Can you share details of where you got this installed? The system model, and also pricing. Much appreciated.

We wish you the best of luck with your car

Chrome handles can be installed at most accessories shops. Heck even the ASC will have them and they will be good quality. I would advice against installing a spoiler as it required to drill the bodywork

2. Is it worth to go for the 16 inchers without alloys - what difference it would make - mileage, comfort etc? Any suggestions in Bangalore where I can get it done?
Its not all that simple- firstly, what width of alloys will you select. There are number of rim selectors available on the net and you can use them to determine what width of rims you require. But Installing 16" rims will also require you to replace the 15" tyres your car came with and the buyback value will be peanuts. Lets say, you make that switch and go for the 16" rims and tyres. Now, after spending 30k+, the ride will get appreciably stiffer than it already is. Lets say you decide to retain the tyres and just change to alloys. If you select a rim wider than stock, the side wall bulge of the tyre will reduce and the ride will again get stiffer. If you decide on the same rim width as the stock rims, the advantage you are looking for i.e. better grip, will not be achieved. To summarise, I would suggest yo remain with the stock rim and tyres till you wear out the tyres at 30k km to 40k km. When you change the tyres, you can change the rim to alloys then. This advice is coming from someone who replaced his steel rims with alloys and then realised his folly
3. In the Alpha varient, there is a side chrome beading - is it available to buy and instal? pricing?

4. Plan to the sun-tint stickers installed in the front windshield + sides from 3M ? anyone having any experience, please share? any equal quality alternatives?
Instead of tint stickers, go for door visors. For the front windscreen, the viewable area is already less. Dont go for a shading sticker and reduce it further

5. Sports pedal? Nexa dealer does not have stock of the same?
Nor required. The Baleno is not a sporty ride anyway. Its more a GT car

Guys,

have a question of my own- some history first. When I got my Swift in Oct14, as per advice of the dealership friend, I had paint sealant done. I learned that the ASC uses the same stuff as 3M. That sealant did really well and my car remained as good as new till I sold it in December 15. So when I bought the Baleno, I asked for paint sealant. However, when I went for delivery, they had not done sealant. I insisted to collect with sealant done and I think they did a hurried job. The car did will till it was time to repeat the sealant at 6 months. This was just at the beginning of the monsoon and the sealant they did this time didnt last. In both cases, the sealant finish on the Baleno was not the same as on the Swift.

Since then, 6 more months have passed. The building next to ours is being demolished and the car is collecting piles of dust. The building is almost down, so I am pushing polishing forward till the demolition is completed. But now the paint surface also has started to go rough. Due to the demolition, I havent also been able to weekly wash my car and wax application is also not possible. So now even the paint surface is getting rough to the touch. I heard about ceramic glass coating and inquired. They offer a 2 year warranty and charge 17k. Paint sealant is 6k but only lasts 6 months, so it will cost more in the same period as the glass coat life. But glass coat is expensive to begin with. And the ultimate aim is to help the paint surface resist dust and general scratches. What do the more experienced members think I should do?

@jobhneroth : its not my car . The guy has done that from Xtreme Car Accessories , Salk lake, Kolkata. It doesn't void the warranty. Its a socket socket connection. The infotainment system is from my maps india. That model costs around 29000 , supports bluetooth n steering control. supports rear view camera also. 10 regional language support for maps. But u can go for a non-gps systems from sony,pioneer,jcv.... , which ranges from 15,000 to 6,000 range .

I'm using it since 3 days, i can't give more review about it, but look wise, its cool with black finish,Really improves the upholestry feel, not soft as it looks in pic, It is sturdy and fits well, also there is no need to change Floor carpet to rexin material, as some do it after market for dust issue, These 5D mat, completely covers the floor and keeps all the soil/Dust in it, just we have to remove the mat and clean it. And it got ampel space for clutch/Accelarator , Even it covers Dead padel. I Bopught it from Coozo itself, by paying Rs.3675/-
here is the link, hope it is useful.

Since you are using it..can you provide your experience. Does it not interfere with Clutch and Accelerator pedals? Can you share pics of your car (specially around ABC pedals)?

I purchased Baleno 3d car mats directly from coozo.
coozo (i placed my order on whatsapp !)
The cost was Rs. 1275 inclusive of delivery from NCR to Mumbai.
If you prepay they ship via fedex and delivery was really quick.
The fit and finish is really nice and i am very happy with my purchase.
Can you post the pics of the mats in your car and share the experience? Doesn't they interfere with ABC pedals?

Sure, bro, gave car for 1st service.will post once she is back. It doesn't interfere with ABC pedal.. It is open and thin towards accelerator and steering rod, it is not 5D/3D towards pedal esp. and because of that while taking mat out of the car there chance of Dust to slip out. (you've to remove carefully) And it covers dead pedal also.. Quality is really good.. It is thick and sturdy and covers whole carpet area. So there is no chance of accumulation of Dust in the foam of the floor.

Good to hear that, shall await the pics. As am thinking to order the same. Pics will justify the same. Since, Baleno has black interiors, black mats will suits the best but doesn't black mats tends to look quite dirty after normal usage. Do you suggest to use Nomad mats instead?

Yes it do look dull when it get dirty. And I feel it loose it's shine after every wash. The Mat comes with Basic Accessory is also good, (which costs you₹1750) and it really holds the dirt and sand particles in it, and you just need to shake or hit on Wall, most of the dust will be removed. And again it'll look like new one.

They are looking good...how much would they cost (I found the prices of 5D mats on Cozoo website and they are whooping 3k, isn't that expensive for mats?)

Yeah it Cost around Rs.3650/-, I searched in web, many online websites, for 5D mats, they charge in that range only i feel, that too in Amazon, they charge bit more for the same Coozo 5D mat.
Maruti itself sell basic Mat for the price of 1750. Compare to that it is VFM.

Hello Everyone,
I have Baleno Delta. I want to add chrome door handles and chrome window lining like many users in this thread. On inquiry at Nexa dealership, RM told that chrome handles are not available for Baleno but they have it for S Cross. Can we properly fit door handles of S cross on Baleno???( I didn't find much difference between two).
Chrome window beading 20 metres roll is available on ebay at descent price. How to cut that roll into pieces?[confused]

Dont know about scross chrome handles. But chrome window lining can be done from nexa itself. Better to get it done from nexa people.
