Re: Maruti Suzuki Baleno Hatchback: Technical Issues & Solutions

Not sure if I like this or I'd ever get it done to my Baleno because I'm too old to be driving around in something like this but gotta appreciate the effort these guys have put in to try something different. M.B design Mototrendz FB page. Check it for the list of mods they've made including a sunroof.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Modification

Hi everyone..
I own a Suzuki Baleno and I was thinking about altering my car starting with the front and rear bumpers and also the side skirts.. My car color is "Granite Grey" and I was thinking of Carbon Black or Reddish-Orange color for the bumpers.. Will that look good or else can anyone suggest me any other color or a pic of altered Grey or Black Baleno or Swift would be better..

StOrM,
you can do that by wrapping your bumper with vinyl. Search up car wraps in India for that.

By the way, does anyone have pics of the tweeters in the Zeta. I noticed that the quality and volume of the door mounted tweeters is so low. I have been toying with the idea of replacing these tweeters with better ones from Polk or JBL and need to know if they can be replaced at all and what size and specification to get. I also dont want to speed too much, so no amps or crossovers for me, just better quality speakers

Disclaimer : NO IMAPACT ON WARRANTY if exact Tapping Connections are used.
This DIY is only for ZETA owners. Apologies for poor quality of pictures and less number of picture for STEP 4. Full credits to TAI.
THE DIY IS FULLY REVERSIBLE if the BLACK CAP in rear chrome strip is replaced by New one. Part No. 39977M68P00

As this DIY was done before 45 days, NO ISSUES OR RATTLES ARE FOUND.

Tools :
a. Drilling Machine
b. Star Screw Driver
c. Tool post or Bit Spanner Size : 10
d. Cutting Players

Components :
a. Xenos(or any branded) 16.5mm Flush type camera. CAUTION CAUTION : 16.5mm diameter only. COST : Rs1200

c. Tapping connectors. COST : Rs 5 each
d. Wires. COST : Rs 15 per meter

Step 1 : Remove the rear hatch and use the Grove circled in the picture for removing the Trim panel.
There are 12 clips to be removed. Remove them in Anticlockwise direction.

Step 3 : Remove two Star screws circled in the picture which holds the black cap to the crome strip.

Step 6 : Remove two 10 Sized bolts holding the Left side tail Light and gently pull the Assembly outwards.

You need to check for a dealer in your area who can source this.

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me where we can get those individual letters of car make/model.

Like for example I need Baleno individual letters. I checked Baleno Logo and it comes with each word connected to the other.

Any links please..

Bro can you please tell the price of chrome bar

Just a reminder. Those 1500rs job are not good at all. I got black roof for my verna for 700 rs ( actually they installed twice because first one had some bubbles and it left a lot of glue both the times when I got it removed)
After some time when I planned to install it again I visited mac auto care and he quoted 5500 rs for the verna ( avery denison)
When I visited the local market shop the guy who install was present there and he told me everything about the low quality wraps.
According to him these guys buy low quality by kilogram[surprise] Not by square ft but kilograms.
He told me the shop from where the shop owners buy the wraps ( told me it will cost 2k for wrap and 800 rs for labor)
He also reminded me of the corrola he was doing , the shop quoted the car owner 80k for full body wrap.
Actual cost of wrap was 35k and 8k was given to the installer. Rest all profit.

It's better to source it on your own or check other professional installers. They will charge double the amount but still quality will be much better and it won't leave any glue behind.
Bro can you please tell the shop from where you bought the wrap..
