I don't see a cigarette lighter in the 12v socket as it used to be in the other models, my Ritz ZXI had a lighter in it as std accessory . My question is can we use a cigarette lighter in the 12 v socket ?

Since car cigarette lighters weren’t originally intended for use as accessory sockets, there are a few inherent issues with using them in that capacity. Accordingly, devices that are designed to use a 12V socket have to be capable of working around these shortcomings.
The biggest issue with using a car cigarette lighter receptacle as a 12V socket is the size (inner diameter and depth) of the receptacle itself. Since there is some variation in the size of a receptacle (sometimes referred to as a can), 12V power plugs typically have spring-loaded contacts. That allows them to maintain electrical contact within a given range of tolerances, but it also means that the plug may lose electrical contact from time to time. Please check this link https://www.lifewire.com/car-cigarette-lighter-12v-socket-534754

This still doesn't answer my question ! My question is " can the 12 V socket be used for cigarette lighters too ?"

Hi All,
Baleno Zeta - Silver Premium is going to be my first car and will be delivered next week. :)
I plan to get the reverse camera for the car from outside, but Nexa guys are telling me that it will void the warranty. Is that true?

You can get it done at any reputed auto accesories shop but be specific ask them not to cut wires but use appropriate cable connectors. They usually take power from the reversing light wire harness so be with them when they do the work.Get a good reversing camera with sensor support Autocop has one called PARKPRO using it for past 3yrs no issues.

You can wipe the floor clean with a moist cloth. Any dirt or dust can be easily cleared. Without lamination, dirt fills up in your carpets

Thanks kenlitting.
Is there an advantage doing floor lamination to the car?
Are you referring to PVC floor matting well then it has its advantages as well as disadvantages. It is easy to clean the floor as pvc mat is water resistant but if some where it the mat gets torn and water seeps in un noticed your running board and floor are prone to rust that too you wont notice easily,

Shub8855,

selling the rims in a new car is not the best of odeas because it means you lose out on a small sum. The platis you will buy will cost upward of 20k and the stock alloys, though new, will not fetch more than 10k

Still, if you want to do it, Plati are decent

Well I do agree with you regarding that I will lose out on sum but if a get a decent amount like 15k approx. I will definitely be spending that sum because baleno with oem alloys doesn't look a beast. And I want my baleno to look like a Beast .

Also I would like your opinion on autoform seat covers. Coz am thinking of getting them installed in my baleno. The cross linked design I am looking forward to.
