Looks like my comments about TASS is outdated. It was based on 4-5-6 year old stories. I should renew my opinion about Tata vehicles and TASS.

Why will it hurt us buddy ? You gave your opinion which you are free to give And entitled to have .

And actual owners of storme are posting their expreinces with storme post using it for 10-12 ,ooo Kms on the forum .

All is cool here .the goal here is not to praise or demean any car maker . The goal is to provide options and factual information to our friend surfer simple .[:)]

No , dude, it's not fully outdated . In Pune if we compare NAW TASS vs Concorde TASS , we will find that NAW is[thumbsdown] while Concorde is[thumbsup].So reserch with eyes wide open is is the solution for dilemma when it comes to TASS.

Buddy , Ertiga is a LUV while ENJOY looks like a PUV (public utility vehicle) and comparison begins with looks. So there is nothing to be sad.

IMO , ENJOY is effect of absence of Karl slym while Storme is effect of ,especially the Storme ASS is effect of his presence.

IIRC , he delayed Storme launch by a year.

Tornado, I have nothing against the Ertiga.We own a petrol Ertiga.

Btw, both these vehicles are MPV/MUV's.Don't go by marketing terms.

I get that looks are important.I was talking from an engine point of view.

The Enjoy has a better drive compared to the Ertiga.The turbo spools at around 1800rpm instead of the 2500rpm in the Ertiga.

@jp , as a seven seater especially when family members are on board , the ride needs to be pliant rather than jerky especially in city and on highways you really don't need the high low end torque .

The Enjoy's ride is not jerky.I just got a recent report with full capacity and the ride quality was great.

Besides, from personal experience I know its not easy to accommodate 7 people in the Ertiga.That last row seat is for kids, small ones.

Low end torque is useful in the city especially with 7 people on board.On the highway there is no difference in the Ertiga and the Enjoy.

Anyways, Surfer has already dropped the Enjoy from his list.No point continuing as there is no perfect car, you have to find the best compromise.

If the driver keeps on utilizing the low end torque every now and then, he has to apply brakes hurriedly every now and then in city traffic , the driver enjoys that but family members keeps on complaing about the resultent jerky ride , This is my experience during ENJOY TD as compared to ERTIGA TD.

No Karl slym had actually nothing to do with storme launch , he infact joined tata motors just 1-2 months before safari storme launched in the market .

I wanted to say that in karl's presence they could have launched it in time when the competition was flaring up.
And the bad ARIA experiences were reported when he wasn't inside TATAS & the good Storme ASS experiences denotes his presence.

IIRC , It was the chevy ASS during his time which attracted and retained the custermers.
