Inspired by Prabhagar's post related to coasting-save-fuel, took time to check the fuel log while coasting. So my office commute takes and average of 12 km/s and I get to touch 5th gear very frequently since I go around 9. So I thought I can give it a try! Man, the results were impressive! Just a snap for your view.

Uploaded both screenshot and actual csv file. It looks like Xcent does cut off fuel injectors completely when coasting in gear. The driving pattern is my usual pattern since I don't want to do differently just for sake of this.

If you look at the csv, it is very clear that it cuts off the moment I start coasting! Yay!
I have a Grand i10 1.2 but I don't see DFCO into action when checking torque tracklog.csv. Could it be possible that DFCO is not implemented in grand i10?

I don't think so! Except very few differences, the core remains same between the Grand siblings! So nope, I'm 100% sure it is implemented in Grand i10! Why can't you upload the CSV here.

Please see the screenshot and the attached torque log. I have narrowed down the log to in gear deceleration and in neutral deceleration and pointed out the fuel flow in l/hr.
The fuel flow for in gear deceleration shows 1.6 to 1.1 l/hr which implies that DFCO is absent in grand i10 petrol car.
Also I was driving with A/C off yesterday but when A/C is on, the fuel flow for in gear deceleration shows 2.1 to 1.9 l/hr.

DFCO does looks enabled but only when decelerating in neutral above the speed of 90 km/hr.

P.S. I don't drive in neutral usually but for the sake of checking DFCO in grand i10 petrol, tried it.

Let me try the same, but I never ride in neutral so I'm 100& sure that all those 0 values in my log is indeed for in-gear deceleration. Let me search elsewhere and see if I can find something!

I think I will get the ECU in my grand i10 flashed from the service center with the software that Hyundai is using in Xcent if you are seeing DFCO enabled in your Xcent. [:D]

Hi Guys,
How are you able to save the csv files from Torque pro? I tried select Email Logs and select csv file. There are a bunch of options to save to google drive/Gmail etc. But none of them work. Do I have to purchase the pro app for it to work?

Thanks

Goto Settings-> Data logging & upload-> Select what to log, here enable whatever you want to log. And enable the checkbox: Rotate logfiles.
I haven't touched/ enabled any option under Realtime web upload although.

Yes, I've done that and enabled logging. But from where do you copy the csv file? Or do you export through the Email Logs option?

Thanks, I found it. For some reason its storing in Internal storage and not under torquelogs. Will try out tomorrow and post my findings.

[lol] Anyways it looks like it might take some time. Currently I'm stuck with XUV and will get my Xcent after this week. Once I get my hands on it, I will try it out.

So, I logged some data with Torque pro today and drove some 10 kms in city traffic. I never see Fuel flow rate going 0. During deceleration, fuel flow comes down to low 10's cc/min but never 0. Uploading the file here for reference.
