Re: Hyundai Xcent S 1.2 - My Daily Commute - Owner's View (3rd Service Update @ Pg.13
Yes, I knew. That's why I specifically told them to call me before taking any decisions. But those idiots have the audacity to do the work on my car without my concern! They had the old bumper in their workshop and from what I gathered, they will sell it to scrap dealers. Moreover, I don't want to carry around that broken bumper in my boot until I sell it off!
Whatever, I'm not going to go that A.S.S never again. Only good thing out of this ordeal was, they fixed my brake juddering issues. Which I reported to them post 2nd service. But looking back, it was their fault in the first place. Only after the 2nd service, I started facing this issue. So it's like they created the issue and now they fixed it!
It sucks to own a car in India!
Hyundai is notorious for such tactics. What happens to the old bumpers? From my past experience they usually return the old parts to the customer. I've sold the brake rotors and brake cylinder to scrap dealers earlier when i had Santro. Not sure what they do with bumpers. They should have an option to sell it to scrap vendor and recover some of the cost.
