Re: Life with the All New Hyundai Verna

Finally bought home my car today guys. The suspension noise is sorted. And some how i felt the rear of the car to be a little bit stiffer. I'll be able to comment on it once i get a change to sit in the rear seat. The painting KUN hyundai did on my Bumper was to be precise ''PATHETIC'' some parts of the bumper near the fog lamps felt really rough. Even though the painting was done under the car. I had no other choice other than taking the car home . I did not want those morons to spoil my car any more. While returning home the MID dripped well below 9 kmpl. [cry]. My car spent 10 days in the workshop. And the only thing sorted was suspension noise. They did not even activate the auto lock. And they also damaged my front number plate while painting.. After all this service manager comes and asks me ''are you satisfied sir??'' . I simply did not answer him. Signed the warranty papers and bought the car home.
All hyundai car owners in chennai, please dont prefer KUN hyundai. They do good service if your car is perfect. . I Am not going to visit KUN hyundai Ever again.

I am attaching a pic of the car to show the quality of paint job.

Re: Life with the All New Hyundai Verna

by the way i was seeing the dealership feedback rating for all india.
advaith hyundai ranks number one, my car trashing centre ranks 8th(maybe cause they make their customers give 10/10) saw KUN somewhere in the middle.
Mgf hyundai was in the top 10

See that painting quality. It looks as if it was done in some road side garage.
And yet there was a big frame in the service center saying '' high tech paint booth at KUN''.
all crap.

Re: Life with the All New Hyundai Verna

these service centers all say hi-tech, and what not they just may have done a touch up job and hence it seems shabby.

i don't feel hyundai will give suspensions to all the vernas like they anyways do if they find an issue only if customer complains then apply.

Re: Life with the All New Hyundai Verna

the cost to overhaul a diesel verna with new pistons, sleeves rings, machined crankshafts, new bearings and other seals gaskets comes to around 1.5l with labour.

Advaith Hyundai is really awesome and they claim they have the largest showroom in Asia. Dont know if its true.

I have booked my Hyundai Verna with Advaith and from past 5 years..its been a great relationship with Advaith, Accent and myself.

Hope this continues with Verna too.

Re: Life with the All New Hyundai Verna

Update : after a mixed driving of open roads and city driving. My car's MID shows a FE of 16.6 kmpl.
So i can assume its giving me around 14 kmpl. Which is a lot better than the previous figures! (11.2 in mixed driving and 7.2 in city)

Fluidic Verna High Speed Stability ??

Hello Friends,
I am planning to buy my first car in India, and only car I had in mind was Fluidic Verna, but its high speed stability is what bothering me now. I was about to book SX CRDI tomorrow, but a friend of mine called me now and gave me shocking facts of its stability and handling. I kinda read it here n there, but didnt expect it to be this bad. [confused] Looking for suggestions.

and other issues like FE dropping, Suspension. this is going to be my first car, so I am not sure these are cases with every car. I also have Vento / Sunny in mind. replying on Verna owner's feedback.

Re: Life with the All New Hyundai Verna

well i don't have the diesel, but have heard the fe for a few is at 10-14km/l in city traffic.
About the suspension so far I'm the only guy on this forum having recurring suspension issues, but one thing the car is not really a rough use car it has to be taken care of.
High speed handling will come into play at crazy high speed over 120 if the roads are not properly leveled and over 60 if the roads are terribly leveled.
the best is if you go give the car a test drive.
vento will be a good choice if you want high speed handling but the verna has a more refined engine.
