hi guys,
i am new to this forum. i own a fluidic verna 1.6 crdi sx model.
i am not very confident about the verna security system. it does not make any sound when opened through key manually while my neighbours i20 does.exact scenario for i20 is "lock it via remote key and then open via key the alarm will go off" in verna there are no security alarms. can anyone help me out if i am missing something for its activation.

guys after little investigation i found the source of thud sound from front whenever my verna jumps breakers or pot holes.
it is a design flaw "front shockers are just 1.5" above the front tyres" resulting in thud sound.
i have replicated the sound every time i jump the braker. sounds odd but i jumped around 15 breakers and replicated it all the time.
now how to get this fixed.

My car makes that nasty thud noise whenever i go over speed breakers over 15km/h it feels like the suspensions are getting stretched to its maximum. Ive changed the springs two times with both times with recent updates at the time of change, changed the struts as well for the front. for the rear changed the springs and struts once but nothing ever gets rid of the noise i get both in front and back.
I took 2 vernas for a test drive and they only had the noise in front not at the back. Spoke to a neighbor who has the i20 the thud noise is in his car as well. Its really had to know why hyundai keeps having design flaws continued in 2 or more models. Like the i10 had the steering rattle, the i20 as well had till date they never could provide a permanent solution other then changing the steering racks whenever the rattling surfaced, a few vernas have also been reported with the rattle.

On my car when i change the springs or struts for a while say 1000 km it seems proper leaving the thud noise it just gets loose and starts bouncing. Plus my alignment keeps going out every 500km especially the left tire the alignment gets into a toe out with the left being most, and only the left is in positive camber every 500km. The rear as wells in negative camber, this rear negative camber is found in all vernas and cannot be adjusted since the axel is a beam.


regarding the alarm for lock and un-lock check with your service centre if they have the security alarm, my service centre has it i forgot the cost its only for non sx(o) variants. I prefer the car just to blink, i dislike that thook thook noise

celiac you have test driven the verna right? you did not find any suspension noise?
i am preventing this noise by keeping the car below 10-5km/h.

Regarding alignment issue only rear is common on vernas about the front I'm yet to see if anyone else faces the same.

sorry the question seems arrogant but how can i find out myself wether the allignment is out of my verna. I do not want to go to the alignment guy and end up paying Rs 200 for no changes [:D]

if there is pulling or thread wear you will come to know, if you see the tires to be either \ or / and not | you will come to know.
On my car during my second free service alignment was done, when we took the car home dad found the steering tight but he did not tell me, when i drove it i told him it is tight and we went to the showroom they were denying its tight, since i have a contact there they took it for alignment and a few parameters were out of specs.

Guys plz help me out here [cry]
While i was moving through the city one cruze guy banged on my Left ORVM and broke the integrated indicator though nothing happened to mirror
Is there any chance to replace the Indicator alone ??? [frustration ]

If you could upload a picture please do but i get it.

So is the bulb working or that also has been damaged ? If you'll go to the company they will say REPLACE. Sono point going there. Best is to check in your local car market maybe you can get the outside cover with integrated bulb and glass cover.

If you find any such thing please update it here ok.

Juz took out the mirror outer cover [:)]
they comes us different unit called up a Known SA he isnt sure about getting that alone
he said they will look upon it when Master Cylinder is replaced ( Hard clutch)
