Sir, is there something special for this plate ? Seems to be sticker cut out over a fiber board.

You could have gone for IND plates at same price.

Nothing Special. I wanted a strong one which can not be mis-handled by my apartment kids. This was strong. So I went for this.

But IND one they said Rs. 1500 or more I believe.

Ok, I understand your requirement.

But Oh gosh, IND plates are available for 700 a pair in Bangalore. You could have told me and I would have got one for you.

In Vellore, Ind Number plates costs Rs.900, I hope in GP road, you may get the Ind. number plates cheaper than Vellore

In kerala, There is 2 type of Ind number plates are available, Known as Original & duplicate. Though both looks same, in the duplicate, Hologram sticker simply glued to the plate and we can peel it easily. Which available at 300rs difference with the original.

Hey friends,

My sparky is ready for another long drive with us. We are leaving to Nagapatinam to my sister's House for a week. 313+313 KMs plus local and surroundings. I may not have access to net for a week unless other wise I decide to visit local browsing center. So wait for my updates. i might be back on Friday/Saturday

Just thought of posting some small scratches on my sparky which happen in this 1 year and 8 months and get your suggestions on it.

I think, two scratches in rear bumber center and left cornet is one which might need more care.

Help me rectify this guys.

70 to 80% of them would go away with simple rubbing with waxpol rubbing compound (green container). The deep ones (on the bumper) and else where can be touched up next time you go for a service. Not factory finish exactly but not noticeable from a distance.

Service center generally do it for free, atleast had mine done a couple of times with a few sweet words. This is a low cost alternative, but do a search on the internet on how to use rubbing compound before starting. Dont want anyone rubbing the entire paint off.

Those scratches will not go by rubbing.Do paint these all with the help of a local good painter. they will do these all without painting the all area and the cost will be below Rs.2K. Neither claim insurance nor go to the showroom for these. The Amount ASS quoting will make us heart attack.

for me these all not at all small scratches and if any of these was on my car, i may loss my sleep. In my car front bumper had scratches (like 6a picture)which done small paint touching and got a dent by an ape auto on right rear side of boot 2 months before(like 1st picture) and last and least i had hit the rear bumper corner to our Wall while reversing on a rainy day(scratches almost like 6a/6b pictures of your car). All these had painted in a single day by the painter in our local workshop and the cost was only Rs.1.4K include the paint and all.

thank you very much for your inputs. Actually my car goes for service next month. I will check with CASS as well as with Local guy also. If CASS can manage to do it for free it would be nice na.

I suggestion would cost max Rs.50 -Rs.60 and some elbow grease. But if you want the work done perfectly then yes Releesh's suggestion holds good.

Ask the service guys to do a touch up job, they will do it for free of cost. I did the same with my Ritz
