Hey Friends,

Finally I have found a solution for my Biege Dash Board reflection in windshield. From snapdeal I have ordered carmate dash board cover exclusively done for my sparky. Will fix it by this weekend and have some pics.

It was properly cut with all provisions, mobile bag. It has come with well-grow stickers which can be fixed in dash and the cover can be attached to those.

Only problem I have to face is, i have Vinayagar Idol in the dash. Either I have to remove it or cut the cover in that place before fixing it.

Oh !! finally you found something Sethu !! Good, yeah you can cut a very small portion to fix that God's Idol on the dash. Hope to see that in real on this Monday in Chennai[;)]

Hhahaha, yes Sir, I tried my luck just now, but was not successful in getting a confirmed ticket, but still I need to be there in Chennai on 7th without fail, so sent a office person to get me a wait listed ticket and try my luck till tomorrow evening and anyhow get into the train and try with TTE. Yes I am there on monday thinking to give you some relief as it is your weekly off so a meet is ON in Chennai on monday evening and for you it is whole day as we both go to the places in your Sparky[:)]

Yes sir. I got it. But i have not yet fixed it. Need to do some work in that to fit my Ganesh Idol which already I have in Dashboard.

^^That looks good and probably you need a very small portion to be removed to stick that Ganesh Idol as however big the idol is the based would be small.

Yes. With some wait I was able to do what I want.

Got the dash board cover delivered on Friday. Did n't have patience wait. But what to do, I have small Vinayagar [Ganesh] Idol which I do not want to loose just because of dash cover.

First I thought of doing cut by myself. But something stops me.

Last Monday evening took it a two wheeler lining [where seat covers/tank covers are stitched]. But that guy was too busy and he asked me to come later by 8 pm which I could n't make it.

Today left office early and reached home early. Had cofee along with that did marking in the cover using permanent marker. After coffee immediately took that to another shop where bags are repaired. But that guy bluntly told me he can not do it and again directed me to the same shope which I went on Monday. But I asked for some other and luckily on the same raod another was there.

When I went there, Shop was full of dust/waste everywhere [It is on busiest road]. But I did n't have any chance and explained him about the task. He said that he will do it right away. When I told him to cut in the mark and stitch some outline he suggested some other method which is used in bike tank covers. When I saw that I was happy and asked him to do in the same way.

Went to nearest park for my regular walking. But in the entire walking my mind was there in the shop. I started worrying that he should n't spoil the cover or the finishing touch should be good. Went back to the shop after 45 minutes. He started to open the bag and my heart beat started raising. I want it to be perfect finishing. I was surprised to see the work done by that guy. Excellent and perfect JOB.

He asked just Rs.40 for that work and i was very happy to see the final out come.

Will be fixing it in car by tommorow. Will post more picture later.

Am sure this is going to be very useful for all type-2 spark owners whom having beige dash board and still living with reflection problem.

Yes very neat Job indeed.

I could n't fix it today. Was very tired after my evening walking. [sleep] Let me see if I could do it tomorrow.

The third option seems to be the best bet. The navigation is certainly a boon and you can alternatively use the screen for its reverse camera.
