Ask the insurance company how much NCB you stand to lose if you claim insurance, and compare it with how much you have to spend out of own tambi pocket . Compare the two figures and decide.
Good Idea. Let me check. Generally insurance guys comes and checks at home right? (what the hell. let them come, am paying Rs.1000 na) So that i can decide. But before that I should check local market @bharath, need you help.

And if nothing works, try placing a pic of Rajnikanth in front of the damaged parts, maybe they will set themselves right then[glasses]. Yeanna rascala!!
Instead I prefer to have our own sticker. Still "My Ride, My Pride sticker" is with me (BTW Sam. do you know Tamil?)

Anshuman, Every year this NCB will be exhausted right? when I sell the car it may not be huge, rather it may not attractive figure for a buyer na (Anyway I dont have plan to sell sparky for next 2-3 years)

The NCB % will be shown in your insurance paper. I don't think you have much NCB as you said you have claimed it before. But in case say if you have 35% NCB and you claim this amount (shown in estimate ),its not worth because you will lose more during renewal. Any way other than head lamp nothing serious here. [:)]

To updates for my sparky.

Today my sparky might reach the new milestone, 20k KMs. Today is my daughter's b'day. Going to Thiruthani in evening. Now the odo shows 19952. So its sure that I each 20k today.

Going to pudhupet to buy headlights for my sparky. Thanks to bharath, TAI chennai member. the seller said it can not be fixed there. So thought of buy, bring it home and try to fix myself. Hope I will be able to do. otherwise, just take it to the nearest mech and do it. (which one you guys suggest)

Planning to buy a mobile holder which I can use when am in car for GPS use. Now leaving it on dash which is really problematic.

@Congrats Sethu for your cars new milestone. Also my hearty birthday wishes to your daughter what a coincidence[clap]

I suggest you get the HL fitted with a mechanic.

For mobile holder, I am using a capdase one but I am not very happy for its quality for the money I spent. Everything is good including the vacuum cup, but the switch given for expanding the arms doesn't work properly. It is better you visit a local shop(if you have a reliance autozone in your city, then you get a good one) buy one for Rs.300-400 which will have good quality. Do not go for the one which are sold below 200 bucks. I wish you have happy and safe journey in your sparky.

Thank you Anshuman and RK sir for your wishes (for both, my sparky as well my daughter)

Sir,

Already I have fixed the HLs by myself. I have even removed my old LED parking bulb which has only 5 SMD and put new one which has 9 SMD. H?ave to check the power in the evening only.

Regarding HL, yesterday itself I have fixed it successfully and checked. Everything is perfect. I made sure all lights are working. I had the following problems after fixing the head light

When I fixed it I could n't check the alignment. During my drive to thiruthani I checked the alignment and found that the left one is focusing up than normal.
And I found gap between bumper and light assembly. could be problem with bumper.

Today morning I came to office by car only. Give to the pooled car drivers (hope fully by the time am writing this, it could have been fixed) they will check with the mechanics they have who will come here regularity and do some work for them.

Regarding Mobile holder, I went one for Rs.220. Looks like decent one.

@GANDHI

Thank you. But that headlight pics I have not posted for LED. See there is a gap between bumper and headlight.

Please find the new LED in night effect

yes, ther is a gap. Post a pic after correction.

I hope you not a mechanic or Mechanical / Automobile Engineer. I'm appreciating your effort of DIY. Now spark looks awesome in LED headlights. Wow.

Check the following with a good car a/c repair centre-
1.A/c filters( If cabin filter is available ,check up , check external )
2.Coolant gas level(It requires top up at intervals)
3.Compressor and components if above fails
4.A/c wiring also.

@sethu ji, its a common problem with the spark. Even my cousin's spark developed AC problem and the service center couldnt rectify it and only made temporary fixes. I suggest you to take it to some private AC specialist and get it fixed.

Jee win till my kodai trip it was fine.

I think there might be two causes.

I tried to use heater and I remember some problem with that know earlier. So it might be one cause.
Second could be hit in left side. I just fast lying navigated a pothole accidently. That could have hit something.
