@sethu: your headlight throw is OK. Cannot comment on the alignment from the pictures you have posted. See that attached image (pic 1) which for LHD car.

ECU remap is when ASS reprograms the car's chip/computer for fuel efficiency or power.

With regards to black plastic treatment, I mean this:Others, Motomax Bumper Black
Chayan, thanks for the info.

Sorry friend, I do not understand anything from that image about the light. Really sorry.

Regarding ECU remap, why those buggers did n't do that in past service even after my continuous mentioning about FE.

Regarding black plastic treatment let me go thru and give feed back later.

Sethu, Driver side beam reach is lesser in order not to dazzle the drivers of vehicles coming from the opposite direction.

ECU remap: buggers need to be bugged I guess.

@sethu:It is a possibility that the cost provided is inclusive of fitting and wiring. Rs.1773 (+tax) is only for one fog lamps.

Still it seems a little on the higher side. 5K would have been OK given you are fitting OEM ones.

Mr. Chayan, I don't have any idea. Even i was pissed of with those people in past couple of days. I had called two different service centers of the same dealer for price and both of them just got my no and told me they will get back to me.

But nothing happened. when I was trying to call them yesterday evening, both phones were not attended. So I call the dealer place where i took the delivery of the vehicle and found it.

Let me check out today also and get you feed back.

I inquired about a pair of foglamp with fitting charge for my dad's spark. they have quoted around Rs.4500.
For the single foglamp they have charged me Rs.1668. + Rs.100 Labour+ 5%VAT. Total Rs. 1886

Given its done by CASS, I think the price quoted is OK, since you would have to add cost of the wiring harness and the switch in this.

@Sethu, if you install Autocop with impact sensor and reverse horn at ASC it will cost you around Rs. 5400 with installation. I installed this one but opted out the reverse horn.
The lower models should cost around Rs.3500-4800 (Don't remember the exact price they quoted that time). It'll cost less outside for sure.

BTW, :offtopic: the price of OEM sunglass holder is Rs.900+[surprise]. If you look at it it is just a spect-case with spring attached, that should not cost more than 350 Rs. LOL

Then on what basis that girl quoted Rs. 2700 for remote locking. And I was able to get in touch with one of the service center and found that the stock is readily available. Need to check with other service center.

Guys, some clarifications.

Clarification no 1
When I checked with a third party [ Privilege Moto Mall ] which is near my office, they said Minda will be costing aroun Rs.4100 if the central locking system is already available. If not I need to spend additional of Rs.900 for central locking also.

The same guy told me that if it is autocop, he will be able to make it for Rs.3500. The same amount was quoted by Genuine Car Accessories also.

Pls tell me do our spark has central locking inbuilt already?

Clarification 2

  • 2 Channel receiver
  • 2 Stage impact/Shock sensor

  • Progressive alarm
  • Reverse horn
  • Silent mode arm / Disarm
  • Stereo loop sensor
