Hi Chevy Spark Owners,

Let us get together at Sparky's Lounge, share info and discuss about our sparky. Every spark owner in TAI are invited.

Let me start.

I have bought SPARK LPG LS model on October 19th [Incidentally I bought my bike, CT 100 on the same day in 2004 ]. It is 2010 model I got in 2011 [I think it was a mistake] after considering additional 15k Discount.

My car costs 3.8L. I paid 90k as Down payment, Insurance and TAX. 2.9L I obtained loan from Mahindra and Mahindra Finances. Iam paying Rs. 8095 as EMI and it is for 48 months.

It comes with, Front power windows, AC, Power stearing, Day and light rear view mirror, Internally adjustable OVRM on both sides

I have got Mat and Wheel cap with the car for free. and also with 5 Ltr Petrol.

I got the following accesories

• Xenos DVD HU
• Oval Pioneer Speakers at rear
• Round Speakers [non branded] in front
• Reverse Camera
• DVD roof top screen
• White LED for cabin light.
• Parcel Trey.
• Antenna
• God idol

The following items I wanted to do it.

• Rear Power Windows
• LED Lighting for rear boot space
• Rear Speakers re-arrangement [you will know later when you go thru the below mentioned thread]
• puddle lamp/Red lamp in all four doors out of which puddle lamp will be useful for the passengers getting down from car and Red lamp will be usefull for other drivers pass thru to know that the somethign is there, so that I can save my door
• LED bulbs for Front parking light, reversing light and front/back indicators
• Fog Lamp
• Another 3.5 LCD screen since reverse camera as of now is connected to roof top LCD screen which is little bit difficult to use reverse camera.
• After market Seat Belt warning [at least for driver]
• Temperature Monitor

Hi Sethu,
good of you to start this thread, glad that you have started using LEDs, this will save power. i am using LED for
1. front parking lamp
2. interior cabin lamps (rear and front)
3. side indicators
4. high mount stop lamp
5. number plate light

planning to add leds in
1. reverse light
2. tail lamp
3. front and rear indicators
4. front fog-lamp
5. some kind of door lamp (got the idea from you)
6. dashboard lights
7. console lights

Do you think in new age cars LEDs in Console will be much difference?

And I do not understand dashboard lights? sorry.

1. my wagon r has amber light in console, which i don't like.planning to change it to something else
2. by dashboard light i mean the lights under the controls (AC, Stereo etc) sorry should have explained earlier.

I wonder what is meant by Card Holder in Sparky in front right under Dash. Can any sparky owner used it, if yes pls let me know the use of it.

Thinking about fitting OSRVM with Indicator. Will check it out the cost etc in the dealership soon. I'll ask them to fit a boot lamp too if possible.

I once checked for OSRVM with indicator and I think it was around 3k to 4k, I dont remember. from then I was thinking will there be any after market product of the same.

Man that is great. Pls share the product name, manufacturer name. so that I can check whether the product is available in chennai.

That is really good price man. Once I asked for painting the OSRVM with body color for that itself they asked for Rs.2500 [including door handles] I think instead of that I can go for this.

According to them it was genuine accessory. Have to get it painted .got the quote over the phone.
!!! Here they paint a whole bumper in 2500 rs

Oops. I don't understand this part. Does that mean it would cost be Rs.1800 + painting charges. if yes pls let me know what would be the painting cost.
