Updates and Service Bill!!!!

Got my Car service bill.It is Rs.11,295.Getting her on Monday.Had much delays due to money and grandfather was admitted to hospital for operation.It's not VW Decaan fault.It's our fault.Car is ready on Wednesday.Had a plan to purchase RD Tuning Box for Vento this week.But,dad said,next month.Because,he had to buy iPhone 5.

Bought the Car 3 hours ago!!!!!

Got my Car 3 hours ago.Waited for 2.5 hours at VW Deccan.Car is smooth.Rocket is preparing for highway trip on this Friday.Interior Polishing was done by 3M at VW Deccan.Volkswagen Deccan had a tie-up with 3M.After going to VW A.S.S,saw my Rocket picked with much dust.So,told to my SA to tell Car guys to wash the Car.Car washing was performed in front of me.But,no pics.SA name is Ashwin Kumar.He is polite and enthusiastic.When I went to same ASS for first time,the rude SA name was Ibrahim.He is much rude.Why he is rude because,when we went for 15K Km Service last month and Odo at 13600 Km,he said wait for another 1500 Km and come.But,after telling to VW Body shop manager about this,he told us to give immediately.Such a bad experience with Ibrahim.Had an interaction with VW Car washer.He is a nice guy.Nice experience with Ashwin.But,he was not there after we came to ASS.If you want to get your VW Car service done,call Ashwin.His number is 7799888741.

Updates and Highway trip!!!!

Update since last 376.5 Km:

Before Service:215.8 Km-9.43 Litres=22.88 Km/l.City Figures and 44.0 Km-3.77 Litres=11.67 Km/l.City Figures.
After Service:116.7 Km-9.43 Liters=12.37 Km/l.City Figures.

Before Service Average-19.68 Km/l[clap]
Total Average(Before and After)-16.63 Km/l[:D]
Best-22.9 Km/l[cheers]
Worst-11.67 Km/l

Now coming up-Highway FE figures.

Yesterday,had an highway trip to Warangal to attend a function.So,ran 284.4 Km in this trip.Still Diesel left.Yesterday morning,filled 9.43L of fuel and went to Warangal.Then,before coming back,filled again 9.5L of Diesel at Warangal and came back.So,yesterday,filled 18.93 Litres of Diesel.One at Hyderabad and one at Warangal.Yet to calculate this figure as it has 3 bars of Diesel is left.

The Car didn't done a highway trip on Thursday(11/04/2013),done yesterday(Friday,12/04/2013).

Sidewall cut and FE update

Update-Car had suffered with a small sidewall cut last week.Hence,taking our Car without repairing the sidewall.Going to change the tires soon to Yokohama A-Drives 195/60R15.And,last city run gave me 11 Km/l with 100% AC.Due to sidewall cut and air coming from sidewall,FE got reduced.Last week overall mileage was 17.2 Km/l.Now,reduced to 15.2 Km/l due to sidewall cut.In Highway last week,gave me 17.8 Km/l and ran 284 Km with 50 Km run in City.Equals to 337/18.93=17.8 Km/l=18 Km/l.Last city run FE was 205/18.86=10.86 Km/l=11 Km/l.Sorry for the bad picture taken from iPad.The red circled one is the cut.

New Updates and a shot with my new Galaxy Grand!!!!!

Its 2 months since we bought this Car.Car had done 15900 Km,i.e,16K Km to be precise.Car had completed 1 year with previous owner and 2 months with us.Ran 3000 Km in 2 months.It's 1500 Km/month.Last FE Update-120 Km-9.42L=12.73 Km/l.And,changed my tire to spare tire.But,spare tire is 14 inch steel wheel.Going to change tires for new tires.Liked Yoko A-Drives and Yoko ES100 195/60R15.Look had gone due to spare wheel.

New shot with my Galaxy Grand.The person,who is sitting in the Car is my driver.

Nice updates mate from your side. But just a question out of curiosity. Looking at your age I dont think you would be driving the car . right? So how come you comment on smoothness on the car.

This question is not to offend you, but just want to know.

Thank you brother.I don't drive the Car.But,I heard the smoothness of the Car when I m sitting in front seat.

Anyways,had a small photoshoot and test with my Galaxy Grand.

Dude. You still haven't changed the tyres? Is the spare the same size as the rest of the tyres in the Vento? If so, then it's okay but if it's a smaller size, change it asap.

One thing that caught my eye was that you said you plan on getting the RD tuning box. Do update as and when you get that done.

Yet to change the tires.Already got approval yesterday.Going to install RD also.But,not now.I liked BS MY-02,Yoko A-Drives and ES100 in 195/60 and Yoko S-Drives in 205/55.But,some says S-Drives are Suicidical drives.Spare tire size is 14 inch.

Anyways,

FE Update-162 Km-9.42L=17.2 Km/l.City runs.

Overall Average-15.5 Km/l.

S drives are not suicidal tires[lol] They are pure performance oriented tires. They provide a lot of road grip and traction. With S drives you can take any corners with confidence. A bid drawback of S drive is poor mileage - Tires last for 30-35k max as S drive are made of softer compounds of rubber. A drives have much more comfort and last 45-50k kms. But A drive won't have grip levels or traction of S drives.

Exactly but both S drives and C drives have different strengths but both doesn't last only. Max then can last is 30-35k but A drives can last for 45k or more depending on how the tires are maintained.
