Coming soon.BTW,Rocket is on the verge of completing 19K Km by today.Now,Odo is 18924 Km after 304.2 Km trip.And,had done 6000 Km in 3 months 4 days after purchase.9 days ago,she had completed 18K Km,now,by today,I will complete 19K Km after 400 Km trip.After 6000 Km,will change tires.

And,Race Dynamics Dieseltronics Box coming soon.Dad also interested in it.

BTW,3 months review:

-She is a real Rocket in highways.Had touched 140 Km/h 2 times.But,not yesterday.
-She is on a verge of giving 20 Km/l after this trip due to light foot drive.
-Mileage in City-13-15 Km/l,Highway-18 Km/l.New FE stat from highway coming soon.All are from Tankful method
-Tires are real disappointment.Will change those after another 6000 Km.
-Engine performance is nice.And,NVH is lesser than old one.

New FE figures and Highway run

FE stats of both highway runs:

First Highway run:

388.7 Km-18.47L=21.04 Km/l.

Second Highway run:

342.5 Km-18.38L=18.63 Km/l.

So,impressed with Vento's figures.Being a Rocket,she gave much FE.BTW,we touched 140 Km/h with another driver yesterday while going to Nizamabad.As our permanent driver is not there,temporary driver had come.So,happy with my Rocket's FE.

So total:388.7+342.5 Km=731.2 Km.
FE of both highway runs=19.84 Km/l=20 Km/l.

So,best highway FE figures are:

1.21.04 Km/l
2.18.63 Km/l
3.17.8 Km/l a.k.a 18 Km/l

Completed 20,000 Km today!!!!!

Completed 20K Km with our Rocket today.Now,Odo reading is 20100 Km.Had another highway trip and came 3 hours ago.And,completed 19K Km a week ago.Had completed 7000 Km in 3.5 months.

As she completed 20K Km today,here is a gift.

Updates!!!!

So guys,

I m back with another bang.Rocket tires are getting worn out.And,had completed 21K Km on Monday.Now,Odo is 21200 Km.Apollo tires are really worst.Will post the pics.Our older Swift had done 67K Km on stock before getting worn out and these are getting worn out early.I think these tires would end about 5 to 10K Km.Or else,we should change it ASAP?

Done 22K Km and 4 month review

Rocket had completed 4 months with us.Renewed the insurance a week ago.Had done 9000 Km in 4 months.No mods as of now.Now,Odo is 22K Km.Planning to upgrade tires to Yokohama S-Drives or Yokohama ES100 after completing 25K Km.Planning to get Blackened Headlights.Dad is not responding about this.Or else,will get my Rocket's Alloys painted.No problems as of now except Car is having thud while going in broken roads.Otherwise,Rocket is excellent Car.Will keep the Car for 4-5 years.

Instead of smoking the headlights why don't you go for aftermarket headlights which come with Led DRL and Projector setup. Will look smashing in your car.

Got my Rocket wheel aligned and balanced 2 hours ago.Bill-Rs.960.Rs.300 for wheel aligning and 500 for balancing.And,160 for Nitrogen filling.Too steep.Got it done at Ashoka Wheels,Minister Road.Now,waiting to change her tires to 195/60R15.And,having highway trip tomorrow morning.

*Sigh*

There is a heart-vs-brain fight going inside me. Vento-vs-Ecosport. Heart says Vento for that 1.6 TDI wheres brain says Ecosport because it is slightly cheaper and bigger and we don't need the powerful engine considering majority of my driving will be restricted to the city and South Kerala highways are pathetic to say the least.

If and when you get the Racedynamics chip, do give us a detailed review.

Personally, I would have gone in for a remap, probably by Tune-o-tronics.

He he. She really likes the Vento too and want to swap our Polo for a Vento. But the exchange value these guys are giving is dreadful (best quote I got was Rs. 4.5l).
She likes the Ecosport too and if it was up to her, we'd have both in our garage

Vagtune is famous when it comes to Skoda and VW. The amount of accessories (that too, OEM) they have for Germans is unbelievable. The only thing holding me back is the price. You cannot have your cake and eat it too, I guess. *sigh*

Is there a website for accessories for VW cars similar to what Skoda has (www.superskoda.com)?
