Hey Music_Swift / Ventoman [:)], congratulations on your new Vento. Terra Beige is a nice color & the car really looks classy in it. I am pretty sure you are going to have fun.

Is it a 2012 model and has Steering mounted controls & Reverse parking sensors?

Another Vento TDI on the forum. Sometimes I really feel if my decision of going for a Petrol variant is really right? [confused]

Thank you everyone.Yesterday,went to Warangal,which is 150 Km away from Hyderabad.But,mileage after trip gave me 13.5 Km/l.Yet to get 1st service done.Odo is 13380 Km.

Music_Swift, many congratulations for your German hunk. The gentleman is looking in top condition.

Buddy, do a comprehensive photoshoot of your Vento unlike your Swift which went away with not so many pics in the ownership thread. Also i am sure that the fe will definitely go up after 1st service, although i feel it should have been higher than this since the car has already clocked 13k+ kms. Dont worry even 14kmpl isnt that bad.

My driver had driven in 120-140 km/h frequently.If my dad drives this Car,maybe we'll get about 17-18.Why because,dad will drive carefully in City.

Update:Car had went to airport and done 132 Km.This was taken by my friend.And,today,Rocket had given me 12.5 Km/l,9.36L of tank.Will be filling the tank full soon.

Want to get GTI Grille for Rocket.Already have a seller.He is from Delhi.He wants to sell those grilles for 3.5K.

And,I want to get something like this.

Update:Going to give the Car for 1st service on Saturday.Presently,Car had done 13600 Km.

Congrats wish u happy miles ahead.

Vento is a good car but be careful while driving.. Once u cross 120 the steering becomes a bit too light.

Went to VW Service Center and had a quote of 10K

Went to VW showroom and got a quote for first service.They gave a quote of Rs.10K without W/A and W/B.With W/A and W/B,I could have got Rs.11K.But,SA said wait for 10-15 days and give the Car for servicing.Because,Car had done only 13700 Km.That's why,he told me to give the Car at 15K Km.And,I had asked for a quote for painting front and rear bumper.He quoted me 4.5K for F/R and 4.5K for R/R,which looked okay.And,for new L.H.S TL,he quoted me 3.5K.And for Blackened Headlights,he quoted 4K per unit.

Will get it done soon.

And,while I was at VW Service Center,our old Car,Swift followed our Rocket.I could have seen my old Car but,I was at VW Service Center.The new owner had installed 70K worth ICE,25K worth Alloys and others.Total,he had spent more than 1L for mods.

800 Km review!!!

After 9 days of use,Rocket had done about 800 Km.Now,Odo reading is 13700 Km.Car is just hoot to drive.And,it is Rocket in Highways.We had touched 140 Km/h in our last highway trip.But,mileage made me sad.Hope,will increase after first service.And,interested in buying Rear Spoiler for Vento.I had asked VW Dealer for this.He said,it is Rs.5800.

Thank you Varun.Car had given more than 13 Km/l in City.FE is getting improved.

1000 Km done and completed 14000 Km

Rocket had completed 1000 Km with us in 2 weeks and BTW,Car had completed 14K Km.Waiting for completion of 15K Km in 2 weeks.And,as per MID,Vento gave us more than 13 Km/l.The FE Figures are in City.I guess it will improve much after first service.
