Update-Car had given 14 Km/l today,which seems to be better 12 to 13 Km/l.Car had done 14200 Km.

Booking day of our Rocket!!!!!

A month ago,we had seen this Car.After seeing the Car,we decided to book this.We booked our Rocket on same day.Now,she is with us since 22 days.Now,she had done 14500 Km.With us,she had done more than 1500 Km.She is a Rocket in highways.But,FE,shown by MID,is useless.Decided to calculate FE by using Tankful method.

+ves of our Vento:

+She is a Rocket in Highways
+VW Build Quality
+Performance
+Better features in our version
+Rear Seat space is just excellent.My father liked the Benz feeling in the Vento

-ves of our Vento:

-MID showed less Average FE

Now,I realized that I should not MID for Fuel Efficiency.

Overall,Vento is an excellent Car

1 month with my Rocket!!!!

1 month with my Rocket.Rocket had done about 2000 Km with us in a month.Now,Odo is 14804 Km.I liked my Rocket very much than my Innova and 800.Now,going to 15K Km 1st Service by this week.Car gave me 12 to 13.5 Km/l in City.On Thursday,while I m going to school,I m surprised that MID showed its best 14.5Km/l in City.I hope that FE will increase in City and Highway after 1st Service.

196.0 Km-9.43 Liters-20.78 Km/l.The best FE I got till date.Tank was filled on Saturday and didn't used her on Sunday,Monday and Today.Rare use with Vento in this week.This is in City use only.

Best FE-20.78 Km/l
Worst FE-12.72 Km/l

Used Tankful method this time.

Not 20.78 Km/l.Got 22.9 Km/l in City.The best FE I have got ever in City.This is in City use only.Ran 215.8 Km total in City instead of 196 Km in same fuel.Didn't used it on Saturday and yesterday.Gave my Rocket for 1st service.Got an estimation of Rs.10K.Only normal service and low FE from MID.

215.8 Km-9.43 Liters-22.9 Km/l.She beat Swift Diesel FE.Even Nano and Indica doesn't give much mileage.

Congrats on your vento. I somehow missed this thread. The Terra Beige color looks good on it & I personally haven't seen much vento with that color on road.

Good to know that your rocket is giving you the desired mileage now. Drive sedately & it will return more km's per litre.

And I read that the VW sales consultant quoted 4k per unit for the black headlamps in the front. Is it including the bulb or excluding it? I'm really interested but not planning to get one!
