Beige is a nice colour. It looks great on Vento. When we purchased Vento, beige was a strong contender. Since other members were in favour of white we also agreed. How about considering the brown? It looks classy.

Yes brown I also a great color but I need a bright color so that I decided to go for beige because I loved that color in the new Vento. We would buy the car by June/July 2016 and Which color can I go in Skoda Rapid.
I think Rapid looks best in silver. Be it with or without the black package.

We bought Vento in 2013 December. It is the older version. It gets red coloured MID and the controls are on the wiper stalk.
Good. Press the trip button until you go to the speed limit setting. In the button part of the stalk you'll notice an OK/Reset button. It's in the bottom part of the stalk. Press once and it'll start blinking with the lowest speed that can be set is 30. Keep on pressing for your desired speed limit. Once you set the speed (Eg : 100 km/h) just leave the button and the display will blink thrice with the speed you have set at (100 on the MID will blink thrice to check whether you're confirmed with the speed limit). After blinking thrice the speed limit has been set so and if you touch 100 an alarm will be produced. For resetting it just press the OK/Reset button for 3 seconds. And if you want to reset the speed limit, you need to repeat the process. Hope this helps you. A bit tedious but does the job.
Thanks a lot. For resetting, we have to press the button once right? A small doubt: Does this setting limits the speed of the car or warns the driver if the car crosses the set speed? Do you also own a Vento?

90,000 Kms done!
Finally,car has completed 90,000 Kms today(77000 Kms in 3 years 10 days).Going to give her for 90,000 Kms service soon but due to busy schedule(this car is used by me as I have exams which has started today itself).Btw,she has run two highway runs back to back on sunday and monday.
About tyres,Michelins has run 47000 Kms and there is a good amount of life left.
Finally,car has completed 90,000 Kms today(77000 Kms in 3 years 10 days).Going to give her for 90,000 Kms service soon but due to busy schedule(this car is used by me as I have exams which has started today itself).Btw,she has run two highway runs back to back on sunday and monday.

It's high time to decide whether we should sell this car or not as it has completed 90,000 Kms and maintenance may increase.Recently,I heard my dad's friend's 2011 Superb's coolant and radiator,which got heated,replaced for ₹50K,which is imo too expensive.Btw,this car has run 97000 Kms and will be nearing to 100K Kms and 5 years in few days.Coincidentally,he owns BMW 530D M-Sport May 2014 version and it has run just about 25000 Kms and no problems so far touchwood.But,he won't buy a luxury car for another 2 years because buying BMW is the biggest mistake made by him and he is gonna buy a new Innova soon by retaining Superb.If anyone wants to go for an high end Skoda or VW,please think before buying them.But,Vento,Rapid and Polo's parts are sourced locally and they are adding turbocharger in 1.5 TDI soon.Expected BHP-110.
The same uncle had suggested us to go for Vento TDI DSG by replacing Vento TDI MT.But,first we should sell our 2011 Swift VDI,which has run close to 70,000 Kms and get a new car as my brother's marriage is coming soon.

No, I haven't. I will check it during this weekend. The car is at my hometown in Cherthala and I am now in Changanassery. Will surely post the results here.
