Hello everyone. Finally I have decided to buy the 3.2 titanium. The decision was made after driving new fortuner and the endy back to back. I found the endy a far better product.

Just wanted to check about any ongoing deals/discounts on 3.2 titanium. Please let me know if anyone has any update on the same.

My Love and Hate story of Ford endeavour started started in early January 2016 and was eagerly waiting for the ford to unveil the Brand new Endeavour. After the event, I decided to go for it but with a bit of hesitation. Called up some of the friend to cross check my decision and result was surprisingly negative and unanimous. Still, my heart wants to go for It, impresses by it’s sheer size and functionality.

Called up two, three dealerships in Hyderabad and Tristar ford dealer in my native place Rajahmundry. I found, Tristar ford people at Rajahmundry are reasonable and offered me third year extended warranty free. Decided to go with the booking by paying Rupees 1 Lakh with a strict delivery date of 5th May (My birth day falls on the same day).

With passing time, more opinions poured in against my decision due to reliability of ford engines and cost of service of the ford. Meanwhile, I received confirmation from Ford and looked like delivery of the Sunset Red Ford endeavour Titanium would happpen on or before 5th May.

From middle of April, dealer sales person became incommunicado :). No further communication from the dealer and dead line passed off without any further information. I shot a mail to the dealer asking for the explanation and still no communication. Finally, decided to get the refund of the advance and visited the showroom demanding refund of the advance booking amount. It was then that the sales GM woke up from the slumber and apologized and promised to make delivery in 1 month time. However, I refused to budge and demanded for refund. After numerous followups, got the refund. By the time it was almost August and ford already increased the price :).

Now the dilemma one more time. Fortuner launch round the corner and I decided to hold my breath till the launch of new fortuner and make a final decision. Some negative comments about the Endeavour in Team BHP and other forums (complaints) also contributed to my decision of wait and watch.

Then came the call from Tristar ford GM profusely apologizing for the earlier goof up and requesting me to make a new booking with some offers like Free third year warranty, Tefflon Coating, Essential accessories kit free. Being a fence sitter, I again decided to forget the past and go ahead with the booking.

I made a token booking amount of Rupees 50000/- and this time opted for white color. Seems, some people are born to repeated mistakes like me and some dealers are meant to make the customers suffer.

Again goof up and CEO of Tristart ford called me to offer a April 2016 model , 2500KM run 3.2 Titanium sync 2 model with a discount of 4 Lakhs. After through research, I decided to opt for the same and conveyed my Agreement. As habits die hard, CEO made a U turn and reduced the discount by 50% , making it only 2 Lakhs. I was surprised by the great Tristart U turn and decided to take up with the higher management.

Useless arguments and discussions went on and meanwhile Toyota released the Fortuner. By the third week of December, I was completely pissed off with the Tristart ford and asked them refund of my amount and decided to buy a Fortuner immediately in what ever color available.

Went to Harsha toyota, hyderabad and they have s silver fortuner top variant available. Taken a test drive of the car and my wife didn’t like the interior. She thinks, they look very cheap, plastic and like a road transport bus. However, with the bad experience of ford dealer in my mind, I decided to buy the fortuner for peace y mind. I wanted the delivery on the very same day with no finance required. Then came the rude shock. Harsh Toyota in Kondapur wants me to take their insurance only and were very arrogant. Per them, they are doing me favor by giving car immediately and hence I should take insurance from them. I never expected such a idiotic behavior from Toyota dealer with least respect for the customer (that too, who is buying their top end car). It was due to the demand that Fortuner commands and kind of user base that uses (who never questions on the price breakup).

It was then, I decided to make a final final jump into Ford endeavour. This decision made my wife also happy as she liked Endeavour interiors and external looks. My daughter ( 4 years old) was simply elated as she wants Moon roof.

One more test drive at Fortune ford Towlichoki in Hyderabad and deal was sealed. Completed the money part with Sunset Red as the our preferred color. They have one car with manufacturing month 11th Nov 2016 and I was happpy for the deal. They offered me third year extended warranty as complimentary. They requested for at least 5 hours of time to complete the PDI. The D day was set for 23rd Dec 2016 (very next day).

As planned, the car was delivered on 23rd Dec 2016 and handover procedure was really nice and prompt.

My struggle for bringing the beast to home took almost 8 months. Drove the car fr just 50 KM so far. Will write a detailed ownership after completing 500KM.

Note: Yet to receive my booking amount from Tristar ford though :)

Nice choice and really appreciate the patience.
So its often the dealer that makes the brand go downhill not the product.

We will be waiting for the ownership report.

Seems Tripati Ford needs to learn a lesson on how to deal with a potential customer.
The issue is political and local pressure, most dealers succumb to such pressure and provide a low volume bookes vehicle to some other customer,

Ford on the other hand provide maximum of 5 SUVs per dealer per month, and the colour and variant are not something the dealer can pre determine fully,

Since its an import rather than one made in India dealera do a lot of guess work on which model and colour customer would take, this leads to lot of hidden issues, add to it these foolish dealers they mess up big time,
I hope the ownership experience with the Red beauty is never an issue..

Wish you lots of happy miles.

Finally taking delivery of 3.2 titanium in diamond white. Managed around 1.5 lakhs off the OTR.
P.S was booked yesterday :)
Congratulations and That was really great discount

I didn't drive the car much though it's almost 10 days. MY Odo shows 180Km(50 when I received the car). I decided to go for complete external body coating and internal leather and plastic coasting. It's called 'Ceramic Pro' and geing done by Saboo automotive in Hyderabad. It's costing me a bomb but still decided to go with it given it's benefits and life time warranty. They need 3 days for complete work and would be receiving it tomorrow. It's time to put some tough miles on the Odo

Just did a highway drive and I maintained speed between 90-110 kmph with moderate traffic and achieved the mileage of 14.1 for the very first time. Also my running is not that much as I have other car also but till now I haven't faced any issue and I m pretty happy with my purchase.
Few days back my friend bought the new fortuner and I drove that but frankly speaking I was not happy as it still has that bumpiness in it as compared to endeavour and also the cabin sound insulation is not at all quiet as of the endeavour.Second service will be due by next month max as I will be going to manali in 15 days and then another trip of approx 1500kms in Feb first week.
Also I forgot to tell that last week I went to shimla and was stuck in snowfall while going to kufri and man cars were slipping from the road due to snow but endeavour crossed every hurdle with ease even it's not 4*4.
So I am pretty happy that I invested my hard earned money wisely. Will update now after my next trip.

I guess 14.1 kmpl was the maximum mileage achieved, the overall mileage for the trip should jave been between 12-13 kmpl I guess

Nope the overall mileage was 14.1 and I calculated it with tankful method.
Wow..thats crazy mileage for a 2.1 ton brute, incredible
4x2 is enough for 95% of road situations in India, and gives immense value to customer as well,
Endeavor is a fantastic product regardless of which engine one chooses.
Hope Ford localize Endeavor soon, the Panther 2.2 and its components will be made in India by November 2017 or so which means service costs will come down even further,

Enjoy safe driving the beauty @ munish_26

Price Update:
3.2 Titanium prices have been increased by approx Rs. 50,000.
Trends however remain the same, believe they have still 2016 inventory left for trends.
